Warning! to all Tesla drivers, WE HAD AN ACCIDENT ON FSD that should not have been and I wanted to share what happened so it will not happen to you. My partner and I were in Yellowstone National Park coming down a curvy hill. The car was on FSD and I was in the drivers seat. My partner had opened the computer screen looking for a function and opened "controls" to look for it. He tried to scroll down not realizing he was already at the bottom of the page and inadvertently touched the "NEUTRAL" icon. Without any warning the car came out of FSD. We were going down a hill around a curve, I took over immediately and we were lucky enough to only hit a guardrail causing damage to the side of the Tesla but fortunately no known injuries. Again, His thumb inadvertently hit the "Neutral" button while scrolling and this caused the car to come out of FSD while it was moving at speed down a highway. We in no way desired the car to be in neutral and it shocked and scared the crap out of us. If we had been going 80 MPH down the freeway or on a curve without a guardrail...this could have been much worse. Because it came out of FSD automatically by the car itself, the new screen that pops up asking you why you came out of FSD did not appear so feed back was not sent and I did not have the sense at the moment to send a clip, although I am not sure how to do this anyway. I did save the memory stick and the police have taken the video to analyze further. I could not find a reasonable way to contact Tesla and inform them of this "neutralising" function and advise this should probably be turned off in FSD or made much harder to activate it. If anyone knows how to share this further with Tesla, please let me know. And everyone who is using FSD, please be cautious about scrolling the control screen when you are driving. Does anyone have a back-seat cover they love that fits the Model Y well and still looks nice?

Via Elaine Baldorossi Triplett, Tesla Model X group FB My husband flew far away for a business meeting in Canada and his destination is Athabasca, two hours from the airport, where he’s never been before. Knowing we both hate driving anything but a Tesla, I suggested “Turo” to rent one. He was blessed to get a ‘26 Juniper with FSD 14.3.3 When my husband set up his phone key, his profile connected to the car and when he first approached it everything was already adjusted for him… the seat position, the steering wheel position, the mirrors, everything! It even switch it from kilometers per hour to MPH. All he had to do was sit in it, enter his destination and hit “Start Self Driving”. It backed out of the parking space at the airport and proceeded toward his destination. Having it drive him there in unfamiliar territory is stress-free for him! The rent car comes up on our Tesla app, too! Having traveled globally during an extensive career, we are grateful to God for this great blessing. Via Julia Scherer cybertruck owners group FB I hope it's OK that I'm hanging out here. Although I currently own a Model 3, I *will* be a Cybertruck owner as soon as it's delivered, haha. I was one of the folks who laughed at CTs at first (dumpsters, urinals, butt ugly). When I went to test-drive my 3, the showroom looked like an ant hill, with men streaming in like kids in a candy shop. I wondered what the heck was going on. . .until I stepped into the showroom. There it was: The first CT in Kansas City! That was probably the fastest 180 in history. The photo below memorializes the moment I first saw a CT in person. I was giddy! A few weeks after I bought my 3, my son bought a CT. That did it. Once I drove it, infatuation turned into hopeless love. Remember the "10-day special" flash sale when the new dual-motor AWD CT was specially priced to test the market? Well, I was working at my computer at 11:50pm on Feb. 28th, looked at the clock, and was overcome with FOMO. I still can't believe I did it. Looking forward to sharing photos--but it'll be September at the earliest. I don't mind, though. It's great that demand is so high! @cybertruck
