@HakataQueen You're missing the part where the login page redirects 3 times and is a desktop page that you need to scroll down and slightly to the right to see the tiny login button.

Isn't it crazy that an Australian can just VPN over to New Zealand, get basically no reduction in speed and not have to deal with any of Australia's draconian restrictions. I wouldn't ever suggest that you do that though because that would be bad

@MasterGir Unfortunately Quad Remesher is the best overall. You might want to try using qremeshify in smaller sections and doing manual patching, Retopo tools don't understand the context of models so it's better to divide and conquer with manual guidance

Anyone know a good free alternative to Quad Remesher for Blender? That shit is like magic but I also don't want another subscription or to drop a fat stack for permanent use. I tried QRemeshify but it feels kinda jank.

@iBrews I've always wanted to make a POE (power over Ethernet) adaptor for ethernet tethering and simultaneously charging a USB C headset, it's all theoretically possible it would just be dongle hell without a custom single board solution.

Ethernet works! It’s dumb but here’s the confirmed working solution: 1) USB-C to Ethernet converter 2) Cat6 Ethernet cable 3) Plug into router on the same network on the PC 4) The Galaxy XR makes no indication it’s connected to Ethernet other than in Quick Settings, but it works

having a device or software you've been trying to fix for hours suddenly start working again is the worst possible outcome. because you learn nothing from it. if it breaks again you are just fuuuuuuuucked since you don't know what actually fixed it.

Turning off wingspan menu will boost your fps in VRChat quite a bit. @VRChat why does the wingspan still keep rendering stuff in the background even when ur not looking a your menu?

@andres_vidoza Same, I fresh installed kubuntu 5 months ago thinking I'll eventually shrink the partition to reinstall windows along-side... Nope! Turns out I literally don't need to boot windows for any reason on my laptop anymore.

Installing Linux on its own Nvme. No more dual booting.
