@RGamerB_ Man on Cinematic setting with Ray Reconstryction this PRO will get 2fps PS5 PRO don’t have RR and not have full ultra in 30 fps on 60 fps is high/medium. Also RDNA3 can run FSR4 like PRO in INT8 mode but need a patch in drivers like PRO have. RDNA4 use FP32 for FSR4 for better IQ

Man listed a $400 used RDNA3 GPU. 😭 7700 XT can't do FSR 4.1, it can't do RDNA 4 Ray Tracing, and only has 12GB of VRAM. 🤦‍♂️ 54fps on Crimson Desert @ 1080p vs 70+ on PS5 Pro with AI Upscaling. 4060 Ti w/ a 3600X is only getting 18fps AVG at 4K, PS5 Pro is a locked 30fps. 😎

@TheBigPlume Custom RDNA2 gpu is 2020y, Zen2 cpu is 2019y, this old hardware is now for 900$ and yes basically only AI upscaler safe this console because is new tech 👌

PS5 Pro is basically old hardware with AI upscaling. PSSR 2 looks great but $900 for what you are getting seems like a terrible deal with Helix on the horizon.

@NikTek Investment for a 2019 zen2 cpu and custom RDNA2 gpu that still is weaker than RX6800 from 2020y 6-7 years old hardware in PRO that only AI upscaler on this hardware can safe this overpriced 900$ old hardware!

I got the PS5 Pro last year… it feels like an investment at this point 😅

Maybe on your 32 inch monitor is smaller difference but i don’t think so. Also graphic quality, man shadows etc.

@Olympicmonkey @RGamerB_ On right on PRO is blurry mess, on 55-77 inch TV this will look like shit….On left on base PS5 is much cleaner and sharper image… 864p is to low to create a 4k image, even DLSS4/4.5 have problem with that on big screen. Minimum to get a nice 4k image is 1080p+DLSS/PSSR

This is how R* achieve 60fps on PS5 Pro. Alan Wake II; Left, PS5 = 1270p (2.8 million pixels) at 30fps. Right, PS5 Pro = 864p (1.3 million pixels at 60fps. PSSR 2.0 is rendering less than half the pixels than the base PS5 yet achieving double the frames, upscaling to 4K. 🤯

Pearl Abyss provided @digitalfoundry with the PC equivalent visual settings for the PS5 and PS5 Pro PS5 Pro runs most basic settings at ultra settings (textures, model quality, lighting) and has better ray tracing. Now we're talking, the Pro is an excellent upgrade

Ciekawe co na to użytkownicy Core Ultra 9 285k gdy zobaczą, że ich CPU wypada gorzej od nowego i tańszego Core Ultra 7 270K Plus. Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus ~ 1399zł Intel Core Ultra 9 285K ~ 2399zł Ja bym się czuł wydymany przez niebieskiego "kolegę". A a nowi nabywcy niech już nie myślą o zakupie 285k. Teraz będą mieć to samo dużo taniej i trochę lepiej. f.👊

I think Crimson Desert looks massively better on PC than on PS5 Pro. As we of course would expect from max cinematic graphical settings on PC versus PS5 Pro’s performance mode, using the very low quality denoiser. This is what I see after playing through several full day and night time cycles on both PC and PS5 Pro. Crimson Desert looks the best on Pro during daytime. Here the denoiser has least work to do and here its image quality is not that far from PC. But as soon as the we get out of direct sunlight then PC begins to look generationally better than Pro. Nighttime also looks noticeably darker in HDR on PC then on PS5 Pro. And colors look a bit different.

@ymnis_v1 You don’t understand what you post, so go play on your console in medium/high preset! On Pc in cinematic that is above ultra🤷‍♂️ with Ray Reconstruction and better RT is reserve only for RTX4090/5090 users. Yours PS5 PRO on this setting run this game in 5fps👌

The post below is horribly dishonest. Digital Foundry were using the maximum settings available (cinematic preset) which are not included in the Crimson Desert PC spec sheet for a reason. It's a future proofing tier and not something people are realistically going to be using.
