Just read that from tomorrow, developers in England will be allowed to turn a range of high street businesses into flats without planning permission - will affect cafes, shops, restaurants, bars, gyms, creches & even pharmacies that have been empty for 3 months. This saddens me.

@nick_the_geek78 @VanessaBails I wear a mask when in crowds - in case I get it and give it to a vulnerable person. I don’t fear Covid and I never did lockdown as I cared for my mum for 6 months then I worked for the next 10 months on tv drama. Rule at work - wear a mask when with others. Sensible procedures

A doulble-vaccinated friend told me he's really afraid of getting Covid. He's 40 and absolutely healthy, but still has mask on all the time and keeps SD. What have they done to people's minds?

Ben and I need something new to watch. We like a documentary, or a drama. Culture rather than crime, so we've recently enjoyed Hemingway, and Halston, and the 1971 series. That kind of stuff. Any suggestions?

Dear @CostaCoffee . I use your establishments quite a lot. Convenient, and reasonably pleasant - if pricey. But I do not need to be emailed for "feedback" everytime I step into your premises. The fact that I'm there should tell you what you need to know. Please desist.

@smileyrach2 Branson is a joke. Bezos is better but has been left behind by Musk now. Musk has persuaded me. One day we should move out into the Cosmos, so why not make a start. All this in parallel with fixing the Earth's problems too of course, and never instead of.
