A personally very special night for me giving out awards at the @DT_AoMSchool Awards. Such inspirational young people,(some of whom I’ve known since they were born!) fantastic staff, governors, families and carers. Always nice to be in the Stretford End too. Thank you AoM

Considered whether to post this but sadly needs saying: Last night there was an incident at my home that is being investigated by police as part of Operation Bridger. I am absolutely fine and no one was hurt but the toxicity in our politics at present must be drawn out. 1/2

We've had a wonderful time at Sale West Schools Conference! Our Pupil Parliament presented on community and kindness themes, and we even got to meet the Mayoress and her consort! In the afternoon, we enjoyed lots of workshops around helping our local community. A fantastic day!

An inspirational day yesterday at @OurSaleWest's Schools Conference with @AmyMWhyte, where our young people presented on the theme of community. It was great to see my daughter get involved in an environmental conservation workshop led by Ruth at @TCVManchester.

Oliver and Helen were honoured to be invited to the new Mayor of Trafford's installation last month. Mayor Amy White has long been a supporter of FOP Friends, so we were thrilled when she chose FOP Friends to be one of her Charities of the Year.

You may know I had a bicycle accident on 19 May, followed by a fracture surgery at @WythenshaweHosp The wound measures 21 cm ish, the size of my hand. The doctor implanted a titanium plate secured with 8 pins. However, achieving full recovery remains a gradual journey.

It was an honour to say a few words on the steps of Trafford Town Hall before lighting a commemorative lantern to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Thank you to the Mayor & everyone who joined us for this important occasion.

Really pleased that the residents of Manor finally have much-needed Labour representation. A huge thank you to everyone who turned out to vote yesterday. It's a great privilege to be elected to serve my local community as a councillor.
