The US women enjoyed the benefit College soccer as a feeder program for years, while soccer crazy countries like Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and all Muslim nations are only just getting up and running. TBH I would be happy with any American player who has carried the American team to World Cup victory. (Yes that limits us to women)
