@DimitriGilbert Nice. Love the look of the new creation page. And ... are you using @Guillem_GH 's buzzscreen for the screenshots?

@joni_vrbt 33% of people will hate you no matter what 33% of people will love you no matter what It's the OTHER 33% you have to worry about. So ... there is not a tech company in existence with 0 haters.

@MartinTale Actually, I OFTEN forget to like a post ... my human brain regularly goes to EITHER like OR reply and once I've made one interaction, the other is forgotten.

I'm 99.9% convinced that anyone who leaves a reply but doesn't like the post is a bot 🤖😅 Like it's illogical for a human to do that, right? 😅

@AtSynct Apparently this is a common feature, believe it or not 🤣 I was thinking of whack-a-mole to start with or anything that makes you tap on the screen continuously

Depends on what you find motivating! The goal of Quit It is to help people find motivation to go through a tough time - either through positivity or with helpful tips or reminding you of what you gain by quitting smoking 🫶 But if boredom is your trigger - I'll add some mini games next 😎

@steveruizok But it doesn't. It costs money to ask a tool to code for you. You're still allowed to code yourself for free.

@nikitabier This feature looks great, and is needed. I've started reading so many articles, only to find that they just state and repeat 1 thing 23 times in order to look lengthy. Summaries will help expose that.

@RealProductGirl Sure -- but what are YOU building? I've built more than a few products ... atsynct.com is my 'flagship' product I guess. Currently doing mostly custom-work for clients, but keep time to maintain and build on my 5 personal products as well.

@mynameisyahia "Social Proof" currently means nothing. People are posting fake user-counts, fake logo-walls, and more. We probably need a sort of TrustSP ... like we have TrustMRR these days.

The slopocalypse ruined logo walls. Every startup has 30 logos. Requirements to add a logo is basically "my friend thought about using it and his friend works at Meta so Meta might use it". New rule I hold myself to: at least half the logos on my wall have a testimonial + case study with a real human face attached.

@gotrice2024 Sounds like there was bad-communication all around. Why didn't the landlord simply tell her to "unlock" the door "multiple times"? It's clear he knew why she couldn't get it done ... so why not tell her? On her side ...🤦 Do people really suck so bad at problem-solving?

This woman rented an Airbnb in France, after she arrived from the airport, she goes upstairs to open the French door with the key the owner provided. For the life of her, every time she turns it and tried to open the the door, it wouldn’t open. She assumes it’s broken, calls the landlord who then questions her if she’s American. He says he will get to it in the morning, in the meantime she has to check into a hotel. She wants a refund for the night she couldn’t stay there but he’s refusing and claiming it’s user error. Should he have to pay her back for the hotel she had to rent?

Vibe coding is both a gift and a curse. We had a DDoS incident last night at my 9-5. After we managed to suppress it, we analyzed the scrip. It's almost obvious is was vibe coded.

@sweatystartup I just hope the VC subsidies don't stop for a while. I'm on the $200/month plan and I am a heavy user. I've even topped-out the plan 2 days before renewal before.

People can’t handle the truth. It isn’t sustainable. Switching costs are virtually nothing. The bubble will pop when the VC subsidies stop.

@dayonefoundry Seeing all of these posts about the Da Nang community is making me wish the end-of-May would arrive faster. I have to stay in the US for a while longer to maintain tax status here ... but as soon as I can, I'm back out to SEA.

@TakoTreba I'm not sure that I 100% agree, but I do see where you're coming from. KPIs are often used for "reporting upwards" and usually tweaked to look as good as possible in order to get the PM/PO praise. However, it's also good to have actual visibility into your product.

I can't imagine NOT working remote. What difficulty do you have with it? - My home-office is setup better than 100% of actual offices out there ... offices don't care to provide you with comfortable chairs, screens on articulating arms, etc - My friendships exist outside of work and are based on actual mutual interests ... which is frankly more healthy than trying to do all your socializing at the workplace. - I'm able to travel whenever I want, wherever I want, and for as long as I want (often months at a time). That is a level of freedom that I cannot ever imagine giving up.

I've got a few products ... not a ton, but a few. And I have a few rules that I use: 1 - I only build one product at a time 2 - If a product doesn't gain traction in a month or two, I'm allowed to create another one ... SO LONG AS the existing product is working correctly and at least MVP feature-complete 3 - If a product DOES gain traction, I focus on it. 4 - If a product that is sitting without traction starts to get traction, it gets put back in the queue of focus. Nothing is ever "abandoned" ... it all works and has the features it advertises ... but focus drifts away if there isn't traction ... and comes back when there is.

Unpopular opinion: ship fast doesn’t work anymore Building a lot of products you give up on after a few weeks is not a good idea Every product you abandon, you’re loosing trust of your customers. I personally wont buy your products if you keep building new ones all the time

It can. I might have misunderstood what you were saying. If I'm using an app that offers me strategy, marketing, development, etc (I don't ... but let's say I am) ... then I want tabs or buttons or whatever to press to switch between one 'agent' and another based on the type that is needed. That doesn't mean they have to be utilizing different LLMs ... they're just different personas of the same LLM, really.

@AtSynct But since LLMs can do all of these things, why can't a single one do everything?

I’m surely being stupid. But if AI is rather unconstrained by expertise or capacity or to some extent speed Why do we need to divide tasks or departments to 9 agents ( the marketing agent, the optimization agent etc ) to each do one thing. And then another agent to manage the swarm. Cant one agent just be doing it all you know. It seems very skeuomorphic. Will we have HR agents to make sure the agent agents are being looked after ? A office canteen manager agent to feed the agents ? Seems daft
