@DeutschWatamate Shermans never had to fight an operational Tiger or Panther in the European theatre. Every time they encountered the German heavy tanks, they were either broken down, out of fuel, or being loaded onto trains for transport. So it's irrelevant - they never had to fight them anyway

The M4 Sherman, since it was built by smart people, was not *supposed* to fight tanks, it was supposed to support infantry in breakthroughs.

While the 75mm armed Sherman was still capable of dealing with the German Tiger and Panther this was by no means an easy task. As these diagrams show at most angles the 75 was all but useless and even against the side of the Tiger it required being at closer ranges

Refuse to comply, and dare them to geoblock. Without Google and Apple, the UK economy would probably collapse. It isn't so much that those services are crucial (although they are), it's that Britain is already on the fiscal brink and all it would really take is a little push.
I'm sure blocking the Internet would go over really well with the British people, too.

They could have won if they didn’t split up Army Groups Center and South on the Eastern Front in 1943 and went all in on Stalingrad with Army Group South and all in on Moscow with Army Group Center and North. A tactical retreat in North Africa in 43 was also needed to fortify Europe. Italy was the weak link. Should have finished the battle of London in 1940 and continued to hit RAF airfields as they were on the brink of collapse, then followed through with an invasion before December 1941. America wouldn’t have joined the war and peace talks could have ensued.

@EmpireEnjoyer3 2. You assume the luftwaffe could sink the royal navy. This is unlikely. They hadnt trained to do so and even when they tried they were less than successful im the med. Even if they could keep the RN from the initial landing they couldnt stop destroyers cutting supply lines

@PrezGHz The Me-262 was technically 'faster'. Of course, it also couldn't turn for shit, was a nightmare to land, and had a tiny on target combat time that allowed for about 2 gun runs before you had to RTB. But they just look at it's maximum speed and go "hurr durr best jet"

Idk where this comes from b/c it’s well understood that the F-80 was the best of the WW2 fighter jets only really being beaten out once F-86s and MiG-15s entered service. The only thing the Me-262 had over the Shooting Star was a higher critical mach number from its swept wings.

They also wouldn't effect coastal defences either - Britain doesn't have as many landing spots as France. They'd all die.

The Germans literally admitted as much; it's why they couldn't invade Britain. They would have zero air cover attempting to cross the channel.
