Hey @Microsoft, why is there a profanity censor in the dictate function of Microsoft Word? Is it really anyone’s business what words we write in our own personal computers?

Do a Google Image search of “beauty.” Count how many photos of men come up.

Today a man called and asked me if he could clean my ducts. I asked him what his sun and rising were, then his blood type, mother’s maiden name, and social insurance number. He told me to fuck off and I counted that as a win.

When people claim that God is loving I wonder what Bible they’re reading, for I’ve read mine closely and have not found depictions of His love. Quite the opposite, in fact. A sensible reading of the Bible reveals that God is indeed the great villain of all its stories.

We give far too much attention to those whose fame has been manufactured solely for the goal of being seen, and not because they themselves have something unique and virtuous to offer the world. People’s fame ought to be a reflection of their talent and wisdom.

Fun fact: in Matthew 6:5, Jesus commands people not to pray on street corners, so... to the dude with the giant cross at Dundas and Spadina... can you, like... not? 🐠 ✌️

@presgang I’m surprised to hear you say this. I don’t agree at all. I’ve been a working artist for the last decade and I assure you I would be far more miserable if this were not the case.

Pursuing art as a job makes people miserable. People would be happier considering it a meaningful hobby. Most people I know would be happier still if they quit entirely. Especially in theatre.
