For the first time in 18 years I'm missing SFN. I have been very ill the last month after a complication from a back surgery, which required a second more extensive surgery. I will miss my many friends and colleagues. I am on my way on a slow recovery.

Here is a timelapse. In ~20 s, CarliSIMon comfortably superresolves 240-slice z-stacks over a pretty large field-of-view. Still not sure whether to call this structured illumination vs. multifocal image scanning. Either way, it's awesome. @huselab #FluorescenceFriday @BioVisTech

Dear friends, I write from my bed in Turky University Hospital, after a sudden stroke last week while attending a EuroBioimaging SAB meeting. I want to thank all the wonderful, kind staff here who are caring for me so well, this curious foreigner who cannot speak Finnish!
