My freshman year of high school our athletic director (who knew nothing about golf) decided to order these golf balls for the team. We each got 4 dozen for the season. Clearly, we could not show up to a tournament in good conscience playing these balls so we all hit them onto the range at our local muni. For the next couple years every bucket at that range was bound to have 1-2 of these. I still think about it from time to time.

@OhChev @MLBTheShow I was playing offline last night, every hit for about 3 games, all perfect with EV’s over 110. Get to the 4th game, all of a sudden the good PCI’s turn into weirdly low EV’s and hitting a ball over 103 MPH turns into a chore

@BWDBWDBWD I think the issue is, is that Judge doesn’t want to be near the spotlight. I mean, just look at how awkward his initial speech to the team was. He never should’ve been captain, it should’ve been Harper

this is a fair, albeit blinkered perspective. not all American culture is this dry. But Judge shouldn't have to perform something he's not. It's the elitism ("can't shake hands I'm too locked in") and troop glazing that is so much worse than being a little boring.

Small suggestion but The Show franchise players should edit all the walk up songs for your players One of those small details that helps with the immersion Other things: - Minimal visuals on screen - No score ticker - No broadcast - Adjusted sliders - Total roster control

I really like this quote "It's more about what the game isn't, than what it is." I've been having fun as a DD player, but that's the best way to describe my general frustrations with the series. The game could and should be SO much more than what it currently is.

MLB the Show 26 is a fun play. Perfect? Course not, no video gm really ever is. If I was allowed to make ONE fix gameplay wise It'd be the umpires. The amount of times they call pitches on the corner a ball is egregious. A pitch touches the strike zone it's a K. Simple as that

Overheard a high school sophomore in our facility tonight tell his instructor that have to do a mile run during baseball tryouts because nothing says I wonder if this dude can win a 9 pitch at bat like a 7 minute mile.
