Our March class calendar is out! Note that this will be the last DeFi Safety and Security class for a while. We will officially pause the class after this month to allow for refresher sessions and updates. Thanks to @arbitrum DAO, once again, for helping bring this class to life. 🤯 Not an April Fools’ joke. We’re kicking off April with two huge wins: 1 - We just received a grant from ApeCo @apecoin. This funding will help us keep delivering high-quality, zero-cost education to the community. We started in the Ape ecosystem with BAYC and MAYC holders as our initial student base. And we’re proud to stay and keep our presence there. 2 - We’ve successfully completed our @arbitrumdao_gov final grant milestone for our DeFi Safety and Secure module. Over the past months, more than 200 students have flocked to this new class. These grants prove one thing: the demand for practical, specialized education in DeFi, privacy, and opsec has never been higher. Crypto is here to stay. And where the money flows, the bad actors follow. Education matters. We’re not stopping.

Those almost 1000 new mutant holders should know that we offer free security classes multiple times per month! Do you know a new Mutant that has joined in the past year? Send them to us! No need to lose new members to scams in 2026!

finally had a chance to jump into the 101 class offered by @boringsecdao the other night where we learned about wallet security and the wild wild west that is web3. honestly walked away learning a lot and with some great suggestions i can't wait to put to use to protect my assets! i cannot possibly suggest this class enough to people new to web3 as well as people with years in the game! looking forward to jumping into 102!

🚨 DeFi Safety & Security Class: Officially Wrapped Back in September 2025, the @arbitrumdao_gov granted Boring Security funding to deliver an educational program on staying safe in DeFi. The class could not have come at a better time. Since our first session in October 2025, DeFi has experienced major incidents. > $128M Balancer exploit > $50M Aave fat finger swap > $25M Resolv Labs stablecoin attack Amidst these background attacks, we taught over 200 students. For our alumni, this was more than just sitting down and listening to an online class. These classes were active sessions filled with high-quality interactions. From the students' thoughtful questions to deep discussions and real curiosity about staying safe in DeFi. A huge shoutout to the @arbitrum team. From the very first interviews, through every milestone, to smooth, timely payments. The entire experience was professional, supportive, and a pleasure to work with. All this would not have been possible without their funding and support. We’re now intentionally pausing the class to refresh and update the curriculum with the latest threats, new attack vectors, and improved defenses. nobody accidentally swaps $50M into a pool with $36K of liquidity lol. fresh wallet, $50.4M from Binance, zero slippage protection, routed through the jankiest Sushiswap path possible. and then an MEV bot just happens to flash borrow $29M from Morpho in the same block and pocket $9.9M? cmon. 0xngmi called this exact play a year ago - construct a deliberately terrible swap, let a friendly bot extract the value, dirty money comes out the other side as "legit MEV profit." $154K per AAVE isn't a fat finger. it's a laundering fee
