3/ How to stay safe: ✅ Only use official channels: @COLDCARDwallet and @Coinkite ✅ Never enter or share your seed phrase on any site, app, chat, or “support” request ✅ Legitimate support will never ask for your seed ✅ Generate a brand-new seed on the fixed firmware, then migrate carefully Seen anything similar? Just a heads-up for Fortnite fans: Accounts are using the official Epic Games logo and “support” branding to push sites that claim they can rank or value your inventory. We’ve included live examples and screenshots of the accounts and sites in the thread: x.com/ChainPatrol/st…

2/ Live examples: → Clusters of X accounts posing as Epic support (some openly labeled “parody,” many not) → Fake YouTube channels copying the Epic Games Store and Epic Games Inc. branding with almost no activity → Phishing sites like eplcrush[.]info and rexer[.]com promising to “check your Fortnite locker value” or rank your inventory None of these are run by Epic.

🚨 Critical Coldcard firmware bug let attackers drain an estimated $38M in BTC. A 2021 flaw caused the RNG to fall back to a weak software PRNG. Mk3 seeds had only roughly 40 bits of security (vs 128); Mk4, Q, and Mk5 roughly 72 bits. Attackers swept 594 BTC from approximately 500 single-sig wallets in 25 minutes. Firmware updates do not fix existing seeds. Migrate funds to a newly generated seed. TAPSIGNER, OPENDIME, and SATSCARD are unaffected. More details: decrypt.co/374766/38m-in-…

🚨 Scammers are mailing official-looking IRS letters to cryptocurrency holders. Letters reference tax years, create urgency around a nonexistent “Digital Asset Compliance Portal,” and include QR codes that lead to spoofed IRS.gov-style phishing sites. Victims are prompted for personal info, wallet details, and exchange credentials. The IRS does not operate any such portal and did not send these letters. Do not scan QR codes from unsolicited mail. Verify any IRS contact only via official channels. Never share seed phrases or private keys. More details: unchainedcrypto.com/irs-criminal-i…

ADI Chain
ADI Chain@ADIChain_·
Most of the attack surface in crypto sits off-chain: impersonation sites, phishing pages, fake token listings, spoofed apps. Securing a chain that is built for institutions means defending that surface as rigorously as the protocol itself. @chainpatrol has been an exceptional partner in securing that layer with us.
ChainPatrol@ChainPatrol

Proud to protect @ADI_Foundation and @ADIChain_ ADI Foundation is the institutional gateway helping governments and regulators adopt blockchain and ADI Chain is the network they run on, built for regulated finance with compliance architected at the jurisdiction level. Together, we've blocked over 700 threats across the web.

@ChainPatrol Classic OAuth consent phishing. No need for a fake page when the real Microsoft flow does the work for them.

🚨 Attackers are abusing genuine Microsoft login pages in a Teams-themed consent phishing campaign. Emails impersonate HR or Planner notifications (“There’s New Activity On Teams,” overdue tasks, payroll updates) and send victims to real Microsoft authentication flows. One click grants an attacker-controlled app full access to Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and more. No fake login page needed. Over 200 emails hit ~120 organizations worldwide. Never approve unexpected app permissions. Only grant access inside the official Microsoft apps you open yourself. More details: blog.checkpoint.com/email-security…
