The problem here is the standard for Devin Booker is MUCH higher than “we didn’t lose because of him.”
The standard for Devin Booker should be “we won because of him.”
Stars aren’t held to this low of a standard. They’re paid to (at least occasionally) be able to go off and steal a game for their team.
