Some of yall think coaching means just knowing the game. I know coaches in the NFL and in college from Sprint football to P4. They have lives outside of football. They’re not robots. Them having a life outside of football actually helps them connect with their players better.

I ran a very strict program as a child to the the point where everyone in my family knew if they had a newspaper, they needed to slide me that comic section immediately. I used to circle the ones I liked in red pen. I’m convinced part of the reason children can’t read now is bc they didn’t read the comics or have to find the movie theater showings in the paper. i realize this makes me sound 1000 years old but i’m right

@edaniels77 There is something called purposeful imbalance which I understand but you’re gonna spend 90% of your life watching, reading and talking about the sport? Be great put in the work as long as it’s needed but if you don’t live by anything but the sport you’ll die by it too.

@TheNateGill It’s never too late to start coach. I know people tell us we aren’t are mistakes but honestly we are. Who we’ve become is based on everything we’ve messed up on, corrected and grew from. After coaching I started traveling more and took up smoking (BBQ not illegal substances)
