@TheRealPlanC I added 2, maybe 3 accounts, that were suggested in the comments. I also corrected @davethewave into @davthewave.

@HungLee Interesting! Remember some ads are now only 30 days as opposed to a classic 6 week ad...
English

@HungLee Something you did might have failed, but that doesn't make you a Failure. 🤩

@marketplunger1 This is cool - not that an exciting video game though!

This is how you solve the mining labor crisis.
Millions of Gen Z’ers playing video games all day can finally put that to good use.
Give them a joystick and $100K base salary. Can move rock from the comfort of their home.
Technology is amazing.

@Ewood_Blue_ Met him in Dubai a few days before we spanked Burnley 5-0 in 2001. He invited me to come and watch the lads train and was a gentleman.

English

@Davethewave That’s ridiculous. I was in Reading to see clients the other week and ended up driving due to hideous train prices.

It’s Employee Appreciation Day 🙌
So, a huge shout out to all of Team Wave.
In the words of our CEO and Founder, Dave Jenkins...
"The tech is nothing without the people".

@Adam_W_Gordon Exactly my point, and the reasons it's a bad employer extended far deeper than a poor career site or brochure.
English

@Davethewave EB is typically an ongoing iterative process. It needs to be authentic. If the company's a bad employer there's no point pretending they aren't. That needs fixed first.
English

@Adam_W_Gordon @iCIMS @adway All this is spot on.
Where I'm coming from is when there is an employer branding brief designed to change the opinion of candidates about that particular company - this is what I dont believe can be achieved without high level boardroom commitment - and not just lip service.
English

@Davethewave @iCIMS @adway I'm talking about every form of candidate interaction; not just 'apply here' type CTA messaging.
All the stuff in the 'awareness' and 'education' stages of this old-skool visual is #employerbranding

Here's an enhanced version of our #talentpipeline content map. You need to be this granular to generate supreme #candidateexperience
English

@Adam_W_Gordon @iCIMS @adway But that's measuring performance of a candidate attraction campaign, which by the way, sounds great, and right up my street BUT... that's not necessarily changing the views of the jobseekers about a company...which is what employer branding is about.
English

@Davethewave @iCIMS @adway At Candidate.ID we tracked all clicks so it was easy to measure engagement at each stage of the talent pipeline. We measured the number of people who were cold, warm and 'hire-ready'. We also showed which channels and content formats drove ppl through the funnel best.
English

@Adam_W_Gordon @iCIMS @adway The secret is in the measurement I guess isnt it. But who measures and over what time period?
English

@Davethewave As in, the results from a campaign are mythical?
If so, I wholeheartedly disagree and have seen a large amount of evidence from my time running Candidate.ID (now @iCIMS Marketing Automation) and from my friends at @Adway :-)
English

@jamesswift Fair point, I suppose the answer is in the objective in the first place.
Lets start with - the objective is to become the 'Employer of choice' ...
My query is, what long term difference do most employer branding campaigns make?
English

@Davethewave Depends on what the goal is and the budget. If it’s purely for brand awareness then it can be very useful - radio etc. If you’re expecting loads of applications off the back of a campaign, then not very useful.
