From a purely propaganda perspective, it's bizarre and reads like an own goal. His MAGA audience is mostly evangelical... and what he says obviously is offensive to them.

Israel has been pummeled all night. Based on my counts of alerts and reports of landings from open sources the number increased tonight, though there are no reports of casualties.
My Whatsapp groups are filled with people having breakdowns after not sleeping for two weeks. In Jerusalem 4 alerts were heard in a 90 minute span.
Iran has been able to increase the number of launches daily. Everyone seems angry at the IDF and Netanyahu for lying about the destruction of Iranian capabilities.

There are plenty of valid reasons to disagree with Netanyahu and his policies, but for crying out loud people, he is quoting a book by Will Durant (a guy you can find in every used bookstore). "Nature and history do not agree with our conceptions of good and bad; they define good as that which survives, and bad as that which goes under; and the universe has no prejudice in favor of Christ as against Genghis Khan." I deleted my earlier repost of this because it was pointed out to me that Netanyahu was quoting an author, something the accounts reposting this clip fail to mention in an effort to make it appear as though these are Netanyahu’s own words.
He’s actually making a good point along the lines of evil prevails when good men do nothing.
