🚨NAVAL LOGISTICS🚨 The routing of the Bush Strike Group - carrier George H W Bush (CVN-77), Donald Cook (DDG-75), Mason (DDG-87) and Ross (DDG-71) - highlights a critical @USNavy & @MSCSealift underway replenishment lesson. Sailing from Norfolk to Diego Garcia is 10,500 miles via Cape of Good Hope; 8,850 via Suez. The Bush and her escorts will be able to make a high speed run to the Indian Ocean around the Cape of Good Hope because they are supported by the fast combat support ships, USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8). Fleet oilers of the Kaiser and Lewis class have a top speed of 20 knots. Arctic, and her sistership Supply (T-AOE 6) can push 30 knots and support a high speed run around the world. The limitation is not the carrier, as she is nuclear, but the three Burke-class destroyers that will burn through their fuel at a rate twice to three time economical steaming. This also avoids having to sail though Suez or past the Houthis in the Bab el-Mandeb. Just another reason we need to be talking about building more Military Sealift Command logistic ships, including new AOEs.

Adventures in California History
We had to get up early because Big Boy's schedule had changed, so we headed out of the mountains into the Great Central Valley outside Lincoln, CA. It was a cold, rainy day, which made for some dramatic scenes. We parked by an "at-grade" crossing where trains usually blow their horns. We were not disappointed! Why was it going so slowly? That paid off big time for us as another train was coming, and Big Boy had been put on a siding track while a freight train passed. That allows us some time to get up close and personal with the massive engine.

BROWDER: Loss of Orbán is a major body blow for Putin. Orbán was incredibly valuable person for Putin because of how EU is structured. EU can't make decision unless every country in EU is unanimous in making decision. Viktor Orbán was Putin's guy inside EU. For years, any type of policy that was tough on Russia or would help Ukraine, anything Putin didn't want, he could ask Viktor Orbán to veto. So, Putin has lost incredibly valuable tool in his fight against the West.

🚨 WOW! JD Vance just exposed to the world that the Iranian delegation in Pakistan didn't even have the AUTHORITY to strike a deal... ...they had to wait for the "Supreme Leader — or somebody else" "This is ultimately why we left Pakistan because what we figured out is that they were unable." "I think the team that was there was unable to cut a deal and they had to go back to Tehran, either from the Supreme Leader or somebody else and actually get approval to the turn." "So, again, whether we have further conversations, whether we ultimately get to a deal, I really think the ball is in the Iranian court because we put a lot on the table. We actually made very clear what our red lines were." "We also made clear that we actually would be very happy. The President of the United States has said he would be very happy if Iran was treated like a normal country." "The ball is in the Iranian court."

Just so that everyone understands: Taqqiyeh doctrine allows the regime in Iran to pretend to go along with all of Trump's demands, only to reverse completely once he's out of office. They only need to fake compliance until 2029. This is their mindset.

The Strait of Hormuz is blockaded. Europe's plan? Ursula von der Leyen: "The cheapest energy is the one you don't use." Stay home, don't drive, don't use electricity. The EU has no plan and no military to change do anything. So they are stuck with "monitoring the situation"

🚨BREAKING 🚨 The U.S. naval blockade has officially resulted in the interception of at least two tankers attempting to transport Iranian oil to China. The vessels, Rich Starry and Ostria, were intercepted while flying 'false flags' of landlocked nations—Botswana and Malawi, respectively.
