@Depthperpixel @luke_pighetti They are a sovereign state anything without a UN mandate is illegal. We might not like what they are doing but that are the rules. Anything else opens a slippery slope. Was the same with the US intervention in Venezuela

Recharging electric cars does not have the fundamental physics limitation ICE cars have when it comes to refueling. You have to physically move liquid into a tank, there's a hard limit on how fast you can do that. The same does not apply to electricity. You can even transfer energy wirelessly. Electric will completely outpace ICE in every aspect it's inevitable.

The new BMW i3 seems extremely promising: - Up to 900km WLTP range - 800V system / 400kW charging - Up to +400km range in 10 minute charging - Side profile is similar to Polestar 2, which is nice I personally like the i3 looks better than Mercedes CLA. Tech seems great too.

Jeff Bezos, worth $234 billion, plans to replace 600,000 Amazon workers with robots. Now, he wants to spend $100 billion to fully automate not just his warehouses, but factories in the U.S & other countries. Oligarchs are waging all out war against workers. FIGHT BACK.

@jamal_aol @luke_pighetti @ThomasBurkhartB Kim didn't really need the nukes. They managed to get enough conventional weapons to have the same effect. This is how they got the nukes. They couldn't be attacked without them taking out south Korea first anyway. Now they just have to be contained.

@luke_pighetti @Depthperpixel @ThomasBurkhartB I hope they've learned their lessons now. Don't bother with sham negotiations that get you killed. Go for the nukes like Kim. Especially since the US has been gunning for them for decades and their special allies have been after your destruction for decades.

@luke_pighetti @ThomasBurkhartB A huge part of it is basically just a F.U from rich countries to poor countries to say: We don't give a shit what you do, just don't do that shit near us.

@ThomasBurkhartB @Depthperpixel pretty much every country of importance has broken international law my guy. it’s only second tier countries that expect it to be iron clad because they have no real influence

@levelsio I'm moving all compute to either cloud or a remote machine plugged into the wall in my office. Then going ultra light for the device I take with me. Either just a phone or a MacBook neo. This is the way.

Another great argument for running Claude Code on your VPS server and not your laptop is its battery use "Terminal" app here is all Claude Code sessions, ignore the Claude app here I have a MacBook Pro 13" M4 and with Claude Code running even on idle my battery dies from 100% to 0% in about 3 hours, it's insane Claude Code on server via Termius SSH sucks 20x less power for your laptop

@Depthperpixel @luke_pighetti There is something called International Law souvenir countries are normally protected by acts that US is recently committing because otherwise only the right of the strongest bully counts.

@ThomasBurkhartB @luke_pighetti 🤔 Lets wait for the physco next door who's torturing his own family to complete his gun and explosives collection before we do anything... Should have been done a long time ago IMO.

@luke_pighetti The US did it via NATO in other conflicts before. And Iran had not attacked the US. That's completely your own mess.

Today, we’re introducing Forge, a system for enterprises to build frontier-grade AI models grounded in their proprietary knowledge. 🌎 Forge bridges the gap between generic AI and enterprise-specific needs. Instead of relying on broad, public data, organizations can train models that understand their internal context embedded within systems, workflows, and policies, aligning AI with their unique operations. We have already partnered with world-leading organizations, like ASML, DSO National Laboratories Singapore, Ericsson, European Space Agency, Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) Singapore and Reply to train models on the proprietary data that powers their most complex systems and future-defining technologies.

Job interviews in 2026 should just be: "Open your laptop. Build something in 2 hours. We'll watch." No leetcode. No "tell me about yourself." No "where do you see yourself in 5 years." Just build. That's the whole interview.

I've long preferred Claude Code over Codex or Gemini, because it seemed much more reliable, but couldn't explain why : now Bullshit Bench by @petergostev provides compelling numbers. It measures bullshit as "when given false premises disguised in jargon, will the model go with the flow (=bullshit) or push back (=truthful)" And Claude is leagues ahead ! Also, this objective of truthfulness is probably at odds with the Chatbot Arena emergent objective of "pleasant chat experience" ; but a model optimizing for the former will be more useful.

My whole feed was filled with DLSS5 posts today. I didn't do enough homework to fact check the source. Some people put a lot of effort in their fake DLSS5 videos. I got fooled by that. This was my first fact checked Tweet. I will take it as a learning experience. Thanks guys!

My cousin Dietrich is one of the best paid engineers in Germany He makes €41,000 a year before tax Last week he got an offer from a big tech company in the US that would net him $350,000 "Are you going to take it?" I asked him "It's a good offer, but I would actually earn less than now" He is right. In Europe, he makes €41,000 and gets: - Free healthcare - Strong privacy protections - Diversity - Pension benefits If you count this in, it's much more than $350,000 European salaries are the highest in the world if you adjust for quality of life

@levelsio "You" ➡️ IP your Internet provider assigns you; not your servers IPs. If you had a static IP I'd like to know why you prefer Tailscale over just adding e.g. your company IP to the firewalls SSH whitelist.
