@DevaronPerry The only way to make the salary work is Don or Mobley. Boston doesn't want Don and Cavs don't want to trade Mobley. That kind of ends the conversation.

@DevaronPerry Also caught that back end to that podcast talking about the reds. Loved Cueto growing up. BPDatDude was my all time favorite, however when I got the chance I bought a Votto Jersey. Mostly because I knew he’d be around for the long haul.

Big athletic wings aren’t cheap.
You can’t patch things with much more than duct tape when you have little assets. That’s why Allen is constantly thrown in trade talks.

@DevaronPerry Ehhh idk. Every team they’ve struggled with in the playoffs is bigger, faster and more athletic on the wing. Kolby has yet to address that glaring hole. He’s trying to patch things with duct tape that require welding.

Brunson also makes up for it in other way while trying defensively.
Brunson’s playmaking chops were in full display during the playoffs.
To me, it’s less defensive issue and more lack of consistency in terms of playmaking. Harden helps to work around that I suppose.

A lot of Cavs fans can’t accept that Dmitch isn’t a defensive specialist. He didn’t make the league or stay in the league cause defense. It’s the front offices job to build around their BEST player. Brunson plays zero defense and just won a chip, how? Because his front office.

I have no doubt we got a great talent. That’s for sure. My reservations are centered around when we will actually see him.
It definitely feels like a developmental situation although he already has translatable NBA skills.
Probably gonna be 2 years before he sees consistent time.
