@tannerlinsley Same here, also using Codex 5.3 for planning and Kimi K2.5 to build gives me so much freedom as well.

Feels weird that I'm about pause my Claude subscription because I prefer OpenCode instead of claude code. I know it's just TUI (for now), but DX matter so much.

My time at Appwrite is over. Although this journey ended sooner than I hoped, I am thankful for everything and have no regrets. I gave it my all. I joined Appwrite in 2023 with a mission of growing user adoption and developer education. Over my 2.5 years there, I created 125 videos, grew the company Youtube channel from 3k to 15.1k subscribers, and reached 1.1 million views across those videos. It was a privilege representing Appwrite at the dozens of conferences I attended and gave talks at. Whats next? I am not 100% sure yet, I’ll be taking some time to reflect before making any decisions. In the meantime, I’ll get back to what I love doing best, making videos with @traversymedia and my personal youtube channel. Something I have not had much time for lately.

one thing i love about the devtools space is its straight up b2c basically to the same extent as a social media app but everyone in the space wants this not to be true and denies it so the competition bar is very low
