$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#13 1 week in I’m already 80% through @Ecomtalent. What’s slowing me down a bit is my day job (45–50h/week)… but it’s all good. Not gonna lie the program is Really Clean Super clear marketing principles and Editing. The flow makes it easy to follow. Community’s solid too. Everyone’s hungry to learn. A lot of the concepts I already knew… But I’m forcing myself to stay in White Belt Mentality and Ego off, sponge mode on 🧠 That alone makes the learning process way more enjoyable. Once I finish the course, I’ll start producing 2 batches of video ads + 1 batch of image ads per day (Mon–Fri). And Weekends Might double that. Still figuring out the right pace without sacrificing quality. Let’s see what next week brings. Just a Nice Guy in trenches🦂

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#12 Decided to go on standby with eCom for now… I’m shifting focus to building a high-income skill something that gives me real cashflow and lets me get inside top-performing brands to see how they really scale. For me, the best skill to start with is where the $$ is: 🎬 Video Editing / Copywriting for ads So I’m going ALL IN on that just joined @ecomtalent this week. The new goal (for now) isn’t $10k/day. It’s: Master 1 skill Work with 1-2 killer brands Print cash & learn how 6-7-8 figure brands operate I’ll still post weekly updates tbh I love doing these, takes 5–10 min and keeps me accountable. This week = finishing the full Ecomtalent program + taking notes. Cya next week Just a Nice Guy in the trenches 🫡

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#11 Tested a new product = 0 results so far. To be honest… I’ve been grinding solo since May just YouTube, free content, and Twitter threads. Thinking of joining a Skool like Origins (Shaun & Spencer) to connect with other killers. Might help me unlock some blindspots. Also had an ad account banned. Got a new one quickly, so we’re back. New product launching Let’s see what happens next week. Always on Attack Mode. Just a chill guy in the trenches. 🫡

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#10 Tested a new product this week — results were BAD after 7 days. Now, for the final weeks of 2025, I’ve got no active product. So I’m pivoting → gonna test Gift/Toy-type products for kids and try to pull off a little Christmas heist 🎄🎁 Is it a good idea? No clue. Is it a bad idea? No clue either. But I’m not just gonna test randomly like an idiot — I’ll treat each product as if I plan to scale it long-term. - Real market research, Just way faster Execution. Already finished the research for a product. LP’s ready. Store’s ready. Just need the creatives. Launching tonight. Let’s see what happens. Cya next week. $0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#9 Decided to drop the product. I’m down –$5,788.88 since I started. Couldn’t get it to take off. My guess? Too much education needed, skeptical market — And I don’t (yet) have the skills or bankroll to keep bleeding for months. Been 3 months in the red. Time to move on. Now switching focus to a new product with high demand, strong desire, and trending momentum. Gonna apply everything I learned. Let’s see where it goes. Cya next week. Just remember — a chill guy in the trenches. 🫡

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#8 Not a great week. There’s a good chance I’ll put this product aside soon — I’ll probably test a new one this week. After running my feedback loop, I realized: My ad scripts still sound too salesy. They don’t feel natural at all. Especially after trying the prompt from @zakaria_airak latest thread — I saw that while my marketing angles were actually well aligned with my avatar, the delivery felt off. From the first few seconds, you could instantly tell it’s an ad. Biggest proof? A product gifting video I got from a TikToker outspent all my ads from the last 2 months at ROASBE so it’s not a winning ad — But the vibe was so much more natural and Meta clearly liked it. So I asked her to film 3 more videos for this week. I gave her super clear feedback so it’s even less salesy this time — and gave her 2 creative ideas with some light structure so she’s not lost. Let’s see what comes out of it. Also reviewed all my market research, took new notes, and reorganized everything. This week: ⏳ Still writing 1 script/day and sending it straight to my editor. Might be my last week with this product — we’ll see. As always — Just a nice guy in the trenches 🫡 Cya next week.

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#7 After FeedBack Loop... I legit chose the hardest avatar to target — the most complex, the hardest to convince. Even worse? I went for Avatar #4 on the list, while the top 2 were way more obvious and recurring. I was supposed to trigger an “aha moment”… Instead, I went straight for fear-based messaging. Big mistake. On top of that, turns out some of the visuals + copy from the script violate Meta Ads policy — which definitely doesn’t help. But above all else: ☠️ My creative just straight up sucked. So from now on: ✅ I’m ONLY focusing on the 2 main avatars that come up the most in my market research ✅ I take way more time per script now — literally spending a full day just to write one ✅ Each script goes through a proper V1 → V2 process before production Not gonna lie, this week was mid af… but it’s fine. Still learning every week. Still pushing. I launched a gifted video from a TikToker last Friday — and it’s already performing better than anything I produced myself over the last 2 months 😅 So I’ll definitely reach back out to her to see if we can build a real content partnership. I’m also planning to hit up more TikTok creators this week to find the ones that truly match with my KPIs and double down on them. Let’s see what clicks. As always Just a nice guy in the trenches 🫡 Cya next week

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#6 After a long week of being completely unprofitable… finally a little green. But more importantly — this week brought a massive feedback loop. What seemed obvious ended up being my biggest mistake since I started testing this product: 👉 I’ve been speaking to the market the wrong way. For the past 2 months, I’ve been building creatives based on Market Sophistication Level 3… But my market is already at Level 4, even Level 5. So no wonder Meta isn’t spending: - The ads suck - The message doesn’t resonate This is why nothing hit. So this week: — I wrote 6 new scripts — Each script = a different marketing angle — All tailored for Sophistication Level 5 Also considering testing a second product in parallel just to see what happens. Still in Attack Mode I’m just a nice guy in the trenches 🛸

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#5 Probably my worst week so far — 6 out of 7 days unprofitable 💀 After a full feedback loop + reading @spencepawliw thread on Ad Concepts vs Marketing Angles, I realized I’ve been testing the same weak angles in different formats… instead of testing new angles every week. 📊 This week I also dug deep into my Zigpoll post-purchase data and clearly identified 3 core avatars. Here’s the plan now: ✅ I broke down my best 2:45min creative, segment by segment ✅ I also broke down a Primal Queen ad format that scaled hard (and fits my offer) From now on: 👉 Only using these 2 formats 👉 Testing max new marketing angles This week I’m testing: 1 Avatar · 1 Mass Desire · 1 Format · 3 Marketing Angles Let’s see what hits. Still in attack mode. See you next week.🛸

$0-$10k/day with eCom - WEEK#4 Another tough week. Still not profitable. Launched 4 new concepts on Friday, but Meta barely spent on them — probably weak creatives. I’ll analyze them properly by this Friday. This week I dropped 8 new concepts to my editor. 📌 Broke down creatives from big brands doing millions (via AdSpy), picked 2 that align with my product, adapted to my market sophistication & stage of awareness. For these 8 concepts, I’m now testing 2 different avatars — each with a dedicate main mass desire. Let’s see how it plays out Since Sept 1st → 💸 Net loss = –$2,200 But it’s all part of the game. Still pushing. Attack Mode. See you next week.

WEEK#3 Road to 10k/day — Still Not There Yet This week wasn’t great either. But I finally finished Breakthrough Advertising and realized I’ve been WAY off when it comes to how I speak to my avatar. I’m not profitable because I'm simply not good enough at marketing. That’s the truth 🤷 Now it’s time to apply what I learned. 🎯 I’ve already prepared 4 new concepts and sent them to my video editor. I’m also working full-time (48–50h/week), and that’s what’s keeping me alive right now while I go through this 1-month storm with terrible results. But even during my shifts, I work on ecom. Weekends = 100% ecom mode. Still pushing. Still learning. See you next week — Attack Mode.

Just realized how dumb I am… Only 90 pages into Breakthrough Advertising and I already realized something major… I don’t need more market research — I’ve got: 100+ pages of Reddit/TikTok/FB/YT comments 130+ post-purchase surveys A Good amount of ZigPoll survey data '' Around 100 '' What I really need: 👉 To actually understand my damn avatar... I’ve been testing stuff that doesn’t hit — not because I don’t work hard — but because I didn’t understand what they truly want, and I truly throw shit on the Wall and hope it Stick... So this week = full deep dive. 📚 I read + take notes every day 🧠 At night, I cross everything with my research + Gemini insights Goal: Align the message 100% with my market. It’s not flashy, but this is where real scale starts. Let’s see what it unlocks next week with all the hypotheses I have right now. Still in attack mode.

WEEKLY#2 Road to 10k/day — FINALLY CATCHING MY BREATH 😮‍💨 Still a terrible week, but better than the last. So I won’t complain — hmdl 🙏 I’m slowly resurfacing after a rough patch with no profitability. Progress is progress. 🎯 Feedback Loop of the Week: Nothing under 2 minutes worked, even when trimming down my best ads. I tried everything to make shorter formats work — failed again.Probably because my avatar still needs more education around the product. I’m also trying to squeeze too many desires into one ad. I need to stick to the Rule of One — one desire, one angle. ⚔️ Next Week’s Plan: I’m only testing 3 new concepts, but going deep on each: Max effort on congruent scripts Built fully around my avatar’s core desire 2 formats to test: Podcast-style format Testimonial-style ad Both concepts are ready — I’ll send them to my editor tomorrow (Monday) so they can go live Wednesday night / Thursday launch. Bonus: Both scripts are based on @aistisnotes thread → “All you need to go from 0 to $50k days is these 6 things” I studied each layer carefully, picked the 2 most promising formats, and now we test to validate the hypotheses. Attack Mode until nxt week🫀

Week#1 — CATASTROPHIC WEEK 💀 Total loss this week. Probably the worst since I launched this product. But it’s all good. We move. Still in Attack Mode. Feedback Loop: Noticed both of my main winning ads have been stagnating for over a month. Haven’t managed to improve the messaging → 100% a skill issue. I keep testing every week. I’ll get better. No stress. This week: Tried shorter formats → didn’t work Tested 5 new concepts → all felt “too ad-y,” not authentic enough Plan for next week: Increase to 6–7 concepts/week Focus on authenticity + new styles (inspired by @karlocreates no voiceover videos) Stay max intent as I can with market research PS: My ad account got banned twice this week😅 SeeYou

This is what a good ad looks like I manually scrape social media every single day to look for ads worth studying Now I'm giving away a swipe file with 40+ creative video ads I recently saved Like, retweet, and comment "ADS" to get it (Must be following so I can DM)

I’m going to document my journey week by week. Goal: $10K/day I’ve been in/out of eCom for the past 5 yrs. Scaled too fast in 2022, misread KPIs, followed the wrong people → DEEP in debt. Now back, focused on a store doing $800–$1K/day. Attack mode. Week 1 drops next Sunday.

@DTCMidas When you say you even do it for : '' Then we do the same thing with our losers (even more important, cause most likely you’ve more losers than winners''. If it doesn't get any Spend less then 10$. You still do a FeedBack loop for it even with not much Data ?

This is our exact creative testing feedback loop that helped us generate new winners consistently. Most brands test ads randomly and pray something works. We turned it into a systematic process that eliminates guesswork. Here’s our exact framework 👇 Weekly Creative Review Meeting Every week, my team and I sit down and dissect every single ad we ran. We start with the winners first. For each winning creative, we analyze: • Angle • Hook (what stopped the scroll?) • Promise • Avatar (who exactly was this speaking to?) • Awareness level • Pacing (how fast/slow did we reveal information?) • Desire • Format (VSL, UGC, static, etc…) Then we do the same thing with our losers (even more important, cause most likely you’ve more losers than winners) The goal isn’t to celebrate wins or cry about losses. It’s to understand WHY something worked or didn’t work. We’re literally paying Meta to test our hypotheses and extract learnings. The Iteration Process Once we identify what made a creative win, we iterate: For videos: • Same video, new hooks • Same script, different creators • New winning hook + old winning video • Same script, new B-roll For statics: • Same headline, new visuals • Same visual, new headlines How We Track Everything We log every test in a spreadsheet with: • Status • Batch number • Angle • Hook • Core desire • Persona/avatar • Format • Testing hypothesis • Results (high spend + good cpa, poor spend + good cpa, poor spend + poor cpa, good spend + poor cpa) Why This Matters The better you understand why people buy your product, the more money you make. It sounds boring, but it’s necessary work. Imagine doing this every week for a year. You’ll develop such a deep understanding of your audience that you’ll never run out of winning concepts again. That’s the difference between a 6 figs and a 7+ figs / month brand.
ALOUD@ALOUD_monke

@DTCMidas How do you analyse your ad test each week, what are the main things you look out for to learn from them and make better ads/ideas of it?
