👨‍⚕️ Three generations, one legacy. From observing his father’s operations as a high school student to now joining the same division, Dr. Sean Harris continues a proud family tradition in vascular surgery at Stanford. ❤️ 🔗: brnw.ch/21wWMem

@DanHan This is what I’ve played and how I’d rank. Lahinch, Royal Portrush(NI), Portmarnack, Oldhead, Dooks, Adare Manor, K Club, Dromoland Castle, Ballycastle (NI), Carton House, Galway Bay, and Glenlo Abbey. I still need to play ballybunion, royal county down, and Waterville.

This is my favorite course in Ireland
Rick Golfs@Top100Rick

Lahinch Golf Club - 1892 Old Tom Morris/Alister MacKenzie #37 in the World Top 100 $500 USD There are arguments all the time about what the “best” golf courses are. I’ve learned what is way more important to the individual is what their favorites are. And I can tell you Lahinch is immediately one of my favorite courses I’ve ever played. Lahinch is a soulful experience. One of the most unique golf courses on the planet, it has golf holes that boggle the mind. Original Old Tom Morris holes Klondyke and Dell are truly 2 legendary designs that are time capsules to a different time. You couldn’t design them today. Alister’s influence means greens that are rollicking fun. If there is a weakness to the great Links courses, it’s that the greens are often flattish. That’s not an issue here, the greens have lots of internal contour so the thinking doesn’t end when you’ve made it to your putt. The routing weaves through the dunes providing wonderful views and varying wind battles. If there is small demerit, it’s that the final 5 holes are back and forth. The holes themselves are great, but you may end up with 3 straight finishing holes dead into the wind, like we did. The course is hard, but playable and fun. The giant dunes and blind shots make well played golf shots especially rewarding. The blind shots require imagination and faith, you have to choose a line and commit without the benefit of a finish line in sight. The 4th hole does have a flag waver who lets people know when to hit. I can’t say enough about Lahinch. Ireland has so many great courses, but this will be the one I think about the most. I play golf for fun and quite simply, Lahinch was the most fun. Lahinch is my cup of tea. If you like quirk, like I do, get here.

@farkomd The way I did when I was a resident, and this was the rule. Recognize it makes no sense, but not worth the effort of a revolt
