Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has died at the age of 96. The patron of many charities, including the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland, her involvement with QNIS brought essential recognition. Her Majesty always placed particular importance on public and voluntary services.

This is my son, Benedict. He died yesterday, suddenly, aged 5. I just want everyone to know that he existed, and to see his beautiful smile and know how wonderful he was. He was such a bright spark, the kindest boy. His time with us was the greatest gift 💔

And this is a very special year indeed. Tonight, we celebrate over 100 modern Queen’s Nurses in Scotland. In fact, we now have 110 #ExtraordinaryQNs working as changemakers in Scotland’s communities. They're all there, how many can you spot?
