@TheWildUte It’s not popular, but if you really think about it rationally, a proportional payout encourages performance A tiered conference payout on a 3 or 5 year rolling average would encourage success & discourage milking I honestly don’t understand why people don’t see it the same way

Unequal revenue sharing model based on TV brand ratings:

The Big 12 almost fell apart when #HornsDown proposed this 15 years ago. A&M, Nebraska, and Colorado immediately left (Mizzou not long after that.) And the Big 12’s depends on what the SEC/B1G does next. And, what happens to the ACC.
Professor WildUte@TheWildUte

Big 12 survival hinges on one truth:
Unequal revenue sharing. Not every program drives value—and pretending otherwise drags the league down. Big 12 must reward the brands that move the needle to compete.

@TheWildUte @CFBKnights Accurate. No, the league is not alright and the way things are going, its about to get worse. But they need to double-down and invest in themselves, innovate to maximize its value. The gap won't close, but thier are no better options.

Utah fans are spiraling lmfao, the conference is doing fine as a whole and doing shit like this is how it will break apart eventually and friction is created. The fact we have a sense of togetherness is what helps the BIG12. Utah is just underperforming, not the leagues fault.

@CouzWalker @TheWildUte My database has ratings data from 2012 to 2025. I queried Utah's football viewership from 2012 to 2023 as a member of the Pac 12. Utah averaged 1.97M viewers per nationally televised game. However playing USC, Oregon, Washington, and UCLA inflated Utah's overall Pac-12 viewership average by roughly 29%.

@CouzWalker Further fracturing the XII over a few 0. viewership points is about the worst thing you could do. They have enough going against them. They need to recommit to each other and continue innovating and adding value. They won't make up the gap, but they don't have to add to it.

You literally did a show on my channel and yours showing that Big 12 teams were ver close in brand value. So how you think this would work is baffling. I may have to mute you to salvage our relationship and respect for one another. Some of your takes get my heart rate up🤣

@TheDemocrats par for this clown. 70million that voted for him were duped, big time. The other 70 million knew it already.

@Bomb3r_CFBMafia @jlkurtz So if every top booster of every school in Big 12 popped off towards BY on Social Media this would be good for Big 12? This is Boosters doing their jobs? Chairmen jobs to go after BY in public? CC’s influence beyond Lubbock was aways overrated and now declining by the day.

Good read here from The Athletic on the Brett Yormark v Cody Campbell saga. Yormark says Friday night Big 12 games outperform the average rating for a conference game by 64%. nytimes.com/athletic/71665…

@Bomb3r_CFBMafia @jlkurtz Promoting your brand is one thing acting like an ass in public bs Commissioner is another thing. If every booster acted like CC it would make a mockery of CFB. Tell your commissioner in private…not on X your complaints…especially from a man of his position (Roundtable)

@B1GFSU @ewayner2 @flugempire Some truth to that. '24 Research (% change from '18): NCSt: $717m (40%) FSU: $460 (58%) CU: $338 (54%) But this isn't really a full indicator of AAU members (ND at $345m). Regardless, NCState will not be a target for the B1G.

@ewayner2 @flugempire He's been pretty clear about potential targets, even tiered them. Clemson and FSU working hard for AAU status. NCState would need to backpack on UNC for SEC. NCState zero chance for B1G. Probably headed to the XII.

On a side note, can you please contact your sources and generate a list of ACC & B12 schools that could attain AAU and then rank them for possible B1G or SEC expansion? Besides FSU, NCSt comes to mind. They were the deciding vote to get Calford into the ACC. They could get extra AAU support from Stanford/Cal and the CA AAU schools. If NCSt becomes AAU and UNC ends up in the SEC big scoop, could NCSt be part of a B1G big scoop?

@RossDellenger Brett Yormark needs to understand that no college football games should be played on Friday night. It’s a bad business decision as ratings will be way down. It’s almost as dumb as having a glass basketball floor.
