I thought David Hobbs outgoing Executive Chairman was dignified in accepting the buck stopped with him and gives the new BOD a clean start in oversight, strategy and executive execution. I’m grateful to David for his efforts, albeit unlucky IMO, and credit goes to him for putting in place the personnel on this board which is unquestionably very strong and balanced. I’m looking forward to the next period as I hope we move to development: Opening up new plays takes time and one thing has been apparent reading many emotional posts over the last yr, can we all finally accept this is a high risk high reward investment, one needs to have the correct mindset - so there may be more ups and downs, thrills and gut wrenching moments as we move towards Farm-in, partners, flow rates, modelling and development planning and execution. Set your expectations now. I hope the bottom is in, but strap in it’s never easy. As ever, we will continue to document to story on The Flight Deck and take it forward with Max Easley as CEO executive, Erich Krumanocker and the management team, backed and stacked with a first rate BOD.
