With these changes, it'll be Qantas's busiest Singapore schedule ever! In July, they'll operate 76 weekly departures, up from previously scheduled 56. Sundays will be the peak with 12! One has to go back to 2012 to get anywhere close (69 weekly), with 2x/day LHR, daily FRA, 3x/week BOM all passing through!

@the133448 @analyticflying I’ve been WP + QF metal and turned away from the F lounge already due to capacity constraints. I wouldn’t be surprised if the demand soars they will cut off the F lounge to those F and CL/P1 exclusively

@analyticflying I wonder how lounge capacity will be managed. I transited SIN F lounge last night as WP on QF metal at 5pm and it was completely full. No dining seats available and I could see them turning away other OWE pax.

Well compared to my last time entering the United States without Global Entry, you’ll need to have your picture taken and fingerprints collected on the line by a CBP Officer and will be asked some basic questions. CBP is still funded so there’s no shortage of CBP Officers and the Non Citizens/MPC line was short, TSA is a different story but my departure out of LAX I waited around 7 minutes to clear.

@Floofius OH, you've got Global Entry! Yeah, that would make it easier to get thru atm. Would imagine it'll be harder for those who aren't on it? (Line doesn't look that bad at SFO or LAX?)

@ILM126 US Customs and Immigration was the easiest ever - Global Entry, scanned my face on the app upon arrival - went to a face scanner and was told to walk through No passport shown and overall very nice

@nxd1979 I would say the strongest "passports" are those held by dual nationals. Having the unrestricted right to live, work, study or retire in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and all EU Member States is probably one of the best combos excl US status.

the "strong passport" being measured by how many countries you can visit is dumb. an EU passport is the most valuable because it grants you the right to live and work and study. getting visa-free travel to brunei or whatever matters only to a vanishingly small number of people.
