People went through a golden age with 10% return cards.
Now they are unable to adjust to the normalisation.
Nevertheless, great cards still exist if you know where to look.

The era of credit cards in India is over. There are no real perks or benefits anymore. The Airtel Axis card is useless now, and overall, Axis and ICICI have been heavily devalued. SBI's service is among the worst, and Amex is hardly accepted anywhere in India. Don’t get carried away by the posts and tweets from the credit card community.

@LiveFromALounge X50 is great, throughput as advertised. Mesh does introduce some latency, limitation of physics.
If you can hardware the backhaul, it’s very stable and performs really well.

Anyone using the deco x50 and has thoughts about its use case and throughput?

I have been using Uber a lot in Taiwan. You have multiple options in the uber and one of the option is to go by the meter, it gives you a range while you board and the final fare can be anything.
Took more than a dozen ubers, none of them tried scamming, 0 cancellation and everyone has put the exact meter reading that I could see at the end. (They have to do that at the end of trip after customer exits for final bill)
And drivers are very respectful, infact one even started playing Indian music after I sat in. This is how you win tourists and leave an impression on them.

@LiveFromALounge Yeah, been using the Deco X50 and honestly very reliable. Coverage is excellent and roaming is seamless around the house. Speeds are solid and consistent. No complaints for everyday use.
