Yesterday (March 24), Knesset National Security Committee advanced a bill for terror convicts convicted of nationalistically motivated murder of Israelis. It needs second/third readings in plenum next week. Recent revisions added judicial discretion (option for life sentence) and softened some mandatory elements. Applies mainly to security/terror cases.
