Whats the best way to show POW to your leads? you have at least five options to use wen a lead asks for “samples” or “past works”. Notion, PDF files, Google drive, Behance nd a Website. they can all do the same thing but I’ve seen people use them in the wrong ways. Send a PDF to a lead: > they won’t open it > doesn’t look good on mobile > not trustworthy especially if you’re a stranger. > only works wen they asks for a resume. Send a goggle drive link: > first impression is you’re trying to scam. > they also need to guess files that matters. > it’s only best for sharing project files, work nd deliverables. Send a Behance: > gets their attention depending on your design > they only see the result, no case studies on what you’ve worked. > only recommend for designers. Send a portfolio website: > easy for them to access. > they see other means of contact. > probably see your pricing. > very good for cold DMs as they see you as more professional. Send a notion link: > its trustworthy > they can see your case studies. > very good for management roles not design nd creatives. TLdr; never send pdf files or Google Drive links to your leads in cold Dms. It k!lls the chances of getting a reply back cause of how shady it looks. having a personal portfolio website is more effective and I’ve created an article on how to do that. keep creating
