The Royal Society have announced a fellowship that will initially run as a pilot with PhDs from Black heritage. You must have < 24 months postdoc experience. This is an excellent(!) opportunity for Black PhD graduates in science. royalsociety.org/grants-schemes…

We went to a local summer camp for WPS middle schoolers, introduced them to our field of study and showed them our videos. They had amazing questions and hopefully were inspired to pursue future studies and careers related to bioengineering.

Equally important as the research and startup experiences these students obtained, the students developed videos encompassing "Stories in Bioengineering" to improve public awareness of bioengineering. wp.wpi.edu/reu-bme/storie…

It's a wrap. The 2023 WPI BME REU programs ended on August 4th. It was an amazing summer hosting these students to perform research in labs and startups at WPI.
