Tonight's University Lecture, “Launching the Next 100 Years: Industry, Innovation & the Future of Space,” will feature a panel discussion with leaders from industry, research, and finance discussing how emerging technologies, public-private partnerships, and visionary thinking will shape the future of space travel. It was fun to watch the launching of water rockets by the Worcester public school students at the 18th Annual Goddard Cup water rocket competition. The event was held on the WPI rooftop field by the WPI Physics Department. A perfect example of WPI’s motto “Theory and Practice”!
