I’m writing to share an idea on behalf of many senior citizens in the United States who own or drive Teslas. Many of these individuals have spent decades contributing to the country through hard work, service, and raising families. Today, a large number live on fixed incomes, often relying primarily on Social Security. While Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) subscription offers meaningful benefits in terms of safety, convenience, and independence, the current $99 monthly cost can be difficult for some seniors to justify. A potential solution could be a discounted FSD subscription for verified American seniors aged 65 and older—perhaps in the range of 30–50% off. This would not only make the technology more accessible, but also serve as a thoughtful gesture of appreciation for their lifelong contributions. It could strengthen goodwill, reinforce Tesla’s commitment to safety and inclusivity, and deepen loyalty among a demographic that already values your mission. Thank you for considering this idea. Here is what someone should tell the President, because it bears on his own political survival. A well-armed tyranny ruling an unarmed population is remarkably durable under economic pain. The Iranian regime can starve its people and shoot the ones who object. It has done so for decades. It will absorb two-hundred-dollar oil and call it resistance. A republic founded not on theocratic rule, but on rule of the people, by the people, and for the people is different. It answers to voters — and these voters elected a President on a promise to crush the inflation Joe Biden left behind. Instead, they have watched costs climb under tariffs, trade wars, and now an actual war that has sent energy prices soaring with no end in sight. The mullahs can outlast their economic misery. The coalition that put this President in office cannot. Mr. Trump is betting the American voter has the patience of a captive Iranian. That is a bet he will lose. The honorable path is also the sound one: finish what we started, or get out of the way of the ally willing to. Reopen Hormuz by force if Iran will not do it by agreement. Stop calling a war a ceasefire and stop dignifying a rout as diplomacy. Otherwise, the verdict will be brief and brutal. We had Iran beaten. We talked ourselves out of the win. Mr. Norman, this is a direct appeal to you to stop the gutter politics you are indulging in against me and my family and raise the conversation to talk about policy issues that matter to the citizens. Pulling someone down by smearing them and their family to raise yourself up is not only wrong but very un Christian. I will only respond to these rash of personal attacks once on social media; You claim I donated to "woke" museums in New York. We have never donated to museums in New York woke or not. Our foundation is set up for education and fighting child trafficking. The only museum we have ever donated to is the Ronald Reagan museum. You claim I am from New York and moved to S.C. to build a beach mansion and an illegal wall. I am not from New York and have never lived there other than visiting the city. I lived in Summerville SC in 1990 when I bought my first manufacturing business and built it into the second largest manufacturer in SC employing 600 people; I started my second manufacturing business in Goose Creek SC in 2008 and moved the HQ of a third business I bought from GA to S.C. and built it into the third largest artificial turf manufacturer in the USA. My foundation also funded educational issues including a major project in Edgefield school district right now as well as anti child trafficking efforts. I believe if your property is registered in your name and you pay taxes on it, Government cannot step in and claim it. They have to buy it (5th amendment). I fought the agencies on this principle and prevailed. I did not block any access as you falsely claim and both my immediate neighbors have ReddyforGov signs. I will fight for the property rights of every S.C. citizen. Sounds like you will take the side of government like you did with the poor citizens of Silfab. You called me a fraud multiple times including in anonymous texts and in your tv ads. You then called my wife a fraud at the post debate event which my 15 year old watched on film. Shame on you. Yes, I did but my last donation was 1k in 2006 before I knew he was not my guy. You left out my biggest donation was to President Trump in 2024 when you endorsed Nikki Haley for President.
