@Tomoejp1236 I have a 100 year old curry recipe from my great grandfather’s diary. Japanese curry is a lot like English curry, in the sense that it is not especially spicy and it has meat

I did it. I finally applied for membership to the Social Democratic Party. I'm now just awaiting my membership card.

@shepard_sk @Elvish_Harper @KnightofValour Oh and crecy aswell. Genuinly embarrassing. Getting punted about in your own house
English

@shepard_sk @Elvish_Harper @KnightofValour You outnumbered us two to one at agincourt and still got slapped up amd down the field. You had the numerical and positionla advantage at castillon. Castillon is far less humiliating than agincourt
English

French people respond normally to the mere mention of Agincourt challenge (impossible)

I’m absolutely serious about this. If you’re an Anglo-American who feels that the Washington Empire is incapable of course correction, come home. Britain is a country where a Parliamentary majority backed up, if necessary, by a few thousand armed men could pull itself out of its tailspin in months. Build the Commonwealth of Anglo-Saxon yeoman farmers and artisans that most of the Founders dreamed of with us.
Bovril-Gesellschaft@BovrilG
@VDAREJamesK Flee to Britain. There aren’t nearly as many guardrails stopping any improvement in our situation than there are in America, the borders are porous for the time being and the Italians, being descendants of an exiled prince of Troy, are kin to the British.

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats the amount of time you've been in a place doesnt make you native. were just going around in circles at this point, neither of us convincing the other, we might as well just drop the convo
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats so majority opinion suddenly doesnt matter? I know about the Protestants in the rest of Ulster because I descend from Donegal Protestants who signed the Ulster Covenant. But it makes no sense to argue that Protestants deserve a Protestant government in Ulster, gerrymander...
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats The afrikaners are different from the Dutch and are native to South africa despite being made up principally of dutch people
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats Even if they were the same they have been there for 500 years. They are their own group and are native fue ti that amount of time
English

@HowlingClouston @EssexPR Your hero’s talking about his train ride, dimwit
English

@HowlingClouston @EssexPR Was he stabbed and did he watch some looting, or was he simply on a train…🤔
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats They went across the border to raid. Sure but even lowland Scots had large amounts of gael blood. They were different ethnic groups this is obvious
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats Scotland was not a single ethnic group, the gaels were mostly in the Highlands and islands, which is why you have the Germanic Scots language and the gaelic Scots Gaelic language. border reivers raided people regardless of nationality
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats They were different nations. Thats why they were attacking eachother. The Scottish spoke Scots and were less anglo saxon and more gael. the Northumberian english spoke english and were more anglo saxon
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats the border reivers themselves are obviously not an ethnic group, thats not what I'm saying, I'm saying the lowland Scots and norrhern English weren't really ethnically different from each other, they were all part of northumbria and were mostly anglo saxons
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats The border rievers arent an ethnic group. There are English reivers and Scottish reivers. They combined to make a new ethnic group the ulster Scots native only to ulster
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats how are they different enough from the border reivers they descend from to argue this
English

@Cruzfan23 @Nickbristol7 @LeftieStats Theyve been there for 500 years some of them longer. They are their own ethnic group separate from and a combination of their English and Scottish ancestors. If that doesn't make you native to somewhere I dont know what to tell you.
English

@Cruzfan23 @Nickbristol7 @LeftieStats What about what the people that live there want? Are you going to reject the wishes of the majority of the people of northern Ireland. The ulstermen are as native to ulster as the gaels.
English

@HowlingClouston @Nickbristol7 @LeftieStats They’re there because of the British colonial settler project that’s been going on for hundreds of years, give the land to the Republic of Ireland lol
English

@Cruzfan23 @Nickbristol7 @LeftieStats They are just as native to ulster as the ulster protestants. It is their homeland too. There are more ulster Scots in northern Ireland than Irish so majority rules
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats This has happened many times before. They are separate from tge Scottish and English. They are thier own group. This is called ethnogenesis. When this happens a ethnic group becomes native to the area they inhabit. Its the same with the boers.
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats ...is they, for the most part, did not assimilate or mix and stayed separate from the population that already lived in Ulster
English

@DanaTano501 @LeftieStats They came in larger numbers in a concentrated effort much like the anglo saxons. Anyone saying the English are not indigenous to England is obviously silly. Why not the same for the ulster Scots. Everyone comes from somewhere
English

@HowlingClouston @LeftieStats the first gaels arrived to Ireland and over the centuries mixed with the earlier inhabitants and most Irish people have significant ancestry from the earlier groups, other groups like the normans came and they also assimilated. What makes the Ulster Scots different...
