The Hypocrisy Times investigates the gap between narrative and reality. Because screaming louder doesn't make it a fact.

I came to America like so many immigrants before me, chasing opportunity, stability, prosperity, and justice. That promise hasn't held for me, yet I hold onto it still, fighting for my children and yours. I fight because I believe America can be what it promises. That promise means nothing if it doesn't also mean freedom and justice for everyone. Happy Independence Day, America.

“Division is the oldest trick in politics, & the cheapest. But time & again… those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress.” @ZohranKMamdani addresses Americans ahead of America’s 250th Independence Day, calling out leaders who divide the nation.

@HypocrisyTimes @ryangrim Oh, so instead of admitting you were wrong and making up a false equivalency that only exists inside your small dog brain, you're now shifting the goal posts to say it's okay for foreign governments to pump billions into our elections. That's a bitch move.

You might think to yourself: why would AIPAC waste this money when they know Abdul will win the primary? Answer: so they can soften him up for the general and beat him with the Republican, but make the attacks look like they’re coming from a fellow Dem. By not banning AIPAC, a GOP-leaning group, from spending in Dem primaries, Dem leadership paved the way for this.

AIPAC's United Democracy Project drops another $3.4M in ad buys supporting @HaleyforMI and opposing @AbdulElSayed, bringing their total to over $10.7M in the #MISen primary so far.

JUST IN: NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani used America’s 250th anniversary to sharply criticize the country, accusing the U.S. of allowing children to go hungry while billionaires and “oligarchs” gain more power. He said America’s wealth was built by working people with “calloused, dirt-streaked hands" while accusing the country of allowing the wealth built by workers to be concentrated in “the soft hands of a precious few.”

Surrounded by people in hijabs, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani @NYCMayor trashes America in his July 4th message. Zohran’s behavior should come as no surprise, as he backed Darializa Avila Chevalier @DarializaforNY for Congress, an individual who called on people to wipe their dirty hands on the American flag like it’s a napkin. It’s also worth noting powerful House Democrats like Ro Khanna @RoKhanna have been doubling down on their support for Chevalier. It’s clear elected Dems hate America.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna @RoKhanna told @LoomerUnleashed @TheCharlesDowns that he “loves America” and that the “wealth tax” is not communism. This was in response to our question to him today about why elected Democrats hate America, given their support for Islamic Communists and DSA candidates. We also highlighted how Khanna just campaigned with Islamic Communist Abdul El-Sayed @AbdulElSayed, an individual who supports packing SCOTUS and issuing a wealth tax on successful Americans. Still, Khanna claimed to love America despite his anti-American record. These people are shameless liars. How can you claim to “love America” while you campaign with DSA candidates who say they use the American flag as a napkin? Hypocrisy! Do better, Congressman!

Mamdani says: "We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else. The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here nothing is fixed into place." He's wrong: our system of gov is fixed into place, it is what gives us stability, and we're exceptional because we're richer, stronger, and more powerful than anyone else.

🔥🚨 BREAKING — Muslim Mayor of NYC, Zohran Mamdani, is going viral for his "ANTI-American" address for America's 250th Birthday. He BLASTS America, oligarchs, the military, ICE, and capitalism, all while he sits at George Washington's Desk. MAMDANI: "There is a term so often used to describe our nation and those who have shaped it: American exceptionalism." "American exceptionalism, the conventional wisdom tells us, makes our freedom a little more free, is how we dug the Erie Canal and irrigated the West, is why children in far away lands grow up dreaming of one day moving here." "Yet the irony is that the story of America has so often been written by those who were told by others with power and influence and wealth that they were anything but exceptional." "For generation after generation, we have been told that when the world has sent its people to our shores, it has not sent its best. It sent Puritans and Sikhs and Quakers and Muslims and Jewish people who were banished for praying the wrong way, worshipping the wrong Gods, angering the wrong people." "It sent peasants and serfs who were treated as less because they hardly owned clothes, let alone land. It sent immigrants for whom power was something someone else had" "We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else. The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here, nothing is fixed into place." "The frontier may be closed, we may have walked on the moon, but the work of fulfilling the values first enshrined in the Declaration of Independence-that work endures, my friends, and it belongs to us all. It belongs too to our newest Americans, those standing here with me today, all of whom were recently naturalized. Nearly a decade ago, I too felt what you feel— the joy of no longer being just a New Yorker, but an American too."

Flanked by newly-naturalized citizens, Mayor Mamdani delivers an extensive critique of the "flaws" of the U.S. (part of the transcript below). This address acts as a counterweight of sorts to the speech President Trump's expected to deliver later today.

The best evidence that @NYCMayor Mamdani has not held a job is the fact that he is sitting on the wrong side of the desk. And listen to his words. On a day when we, and in particular, our leaders should be celebrating the 250 years of our nation’s history, he attacks us and what makes our country great. Mamdani and the Democratic Socialists are grave threats to our present and our future.

War criminals shouldn’t be allowed to walk freely in NYC. As the Gaza genocide continues, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir is visiting our city next week for a summit at the UN. He’s responsible for the torture of Palestinian detainees, the abuse of freedom flotilla peace activists including New Yorkers, the expansion of illegal settlements and promotion of settler violence, and openly espousing his genocidal intent to ethnically cleanse Palestine.  Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom have all placed sanctions and travel restrictions on him for his crimes against humanity. New York shouldn’t be a safe haven for him either. We’re calling on @NewYorkStateAG to meet with his victims, investigate, and prosecute. And we’ll be assembling by the UN on Tuesday at 4pm to make it clear: if genocidal war criminals come to our city, they’ll be greeted by people demanding justice.

@AberKawas Taqiyya is an Islamic term that means "prudence" or "concealment." In its traditional form, it is a narrow, emergency provision within Islamic jurisprudence that permits a Muslim to hide their religious identity or deny their faith only under direct, mortal threat of persecution.
