Lastly, the city of Perth is beautiful and we really recommend everyone who has the chance to visit 🏙️☀️🌴 Even though we apparently didn’t get to see the city in its best weather, the city has a beautiful coastline, a nice mix of old and modern buildings and overall a cool vibe

I got to present some of our research centred around two-component systems in S. aureus in the proffered paper session! It was a pleasure to discuss these regulatory systems with our esteemed colleagues at the conference, and I look forward to going back to the lab and implementing new ideas 🔬

Yesterday afternoon, I presented at #ISSSI2024, which was my first oral presentation at an international conference. I was really nervous before, but seeing all the supportive people in the audience made it an unforgettable experience! 😊 Now I’m looking forward to hearing a lot of interesting talks about staphylococci during the last day of #ISSSI2024 tomorrow 🦠🧫🔬
