@RealJayWilliams I think calling Scheyer a "choker" is more tongue-in-cheek. We're making fun of Duke for losing, not really thinking Scheyer is a bad coach. Had their starting PG not gotten hurt, it would probably be a different story.

Carolina’s basketball head coach search could get very interesting the further Tommy Lloyd’s Arizona team advances in the tournament. If other head coaching targets are eliminated before Lloyd, you would expect those schools to move quickly on contract extensions. And if Lloyd wins a national title, it’s hard to see him leaving Arizona.

@isaacschade If Arizona makes it into the Final Four he is likely staying in Tucson. Looking more likely UNC’s next HC will be Billy Donovan, which is not a bad hire. Grant McCasland or Ben McCollum would also be good hires.

@ZachGelb @JoelBerryII If I were in the position to do so, I'd be making some phone calls to gauge interest in the job. We can't just assume that someone would take it just because it's UNC. Yes there is a storied history, but in 2026 its less about the brand and more about $$$.

A trade would theoretically allow Aiyuk to participate in training camp for the new team, which has shown to be important for him and other WRs in the past. 49ers can presumably hold Aiyuk up until the 9/1 option bonus deadline to prevent him from going to another camp
