By integrating EO data into the Smart Satellite Data Link System (SSDLS), the state can disseminate real-time target coordinates and situational awareness directly to tactical nodes, such as JF-17 Block III fighters and air defense batteries, effectively compressing the "sensor-to-shooter" timeline into a unified, space-enabled kill chain. This progression is a cornerstone of the Pakistan Space Vision 2040, a comprehensive roadmap aimed at transforming the country into a self-reliant space-faring nation through the deployment of a robust fleet of five geostationary (GEO) and six low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites. Under this vision, the transition from purchased platforms to indigenously designed EO satellites like the EO-series reflects a shift toward total domestic control over the space ecosystem, eventually culminating in the development of indigenous Satellite Launch Vehicles (SLVs) and a fully integrated multi-domain command and control infrastructure.
