People forget how good Danny Willet was when he won the Masters in 2016. He was world number 13 and a multiple winner of big European Tour events. He was a former world amateur number 1 and finished T6 at The Open in 2015. He fully deserved that win.

Buffon's whole gimmick was playing in his 40's while a washed Neuer is still making several big saves & being a sweeper keeper at the Bernabeu at age 40. That's not even mentioning how Neuer single handedly influenced a whole generation of young goalkeepers. Never compare them again, Neuer is miles clear.
