USC is somewhere in-between the 15th and 5th best team in the country this year... However, Oregon is either the best or 2nd best, and they have better players at most positions. This whole narrative that USC is the superior program right now just isn't correct.

@Genetics56 They need to pray “going elsewhere” is a better strategy than having a pipeline to the trinity league. It may be. But USC is coming, and will contend for a B1G championship this year.

USC regaining their influence in the Trinity League basically. Makes it harder for Oregon to get the top talent out of that league. Thus, they need to go elsewhere, and he knows they can buy them. Hence the focus on winning in the fall comment.

*Pulls receipt* I literally have them 1st in my preseason power ratings. If you meant program rankings, which is what I was not discussing, I had them 3rd, only behind the last two champions, Ohio State and Indiana.
