@NBCNews Less gold, add stone art deco murals, molding and architecture needs to gently draw the eye up, no gold statues (we prefer darker metals), gold needs to be tastefully applied in creative ways.
American art deco celebrates the people and mythology of the US. It should do that.

In fairness to Trump, the U.S. really is one of the only Western countries without a victory arch of some kind in its capital.
And if the U.S. were to construct one, the 250th anniversary of the nation's founding would be a pretty appropriate time to do it.

This is a good indication Trump is going to surrender on Hormuz.
He keeps thinking up reasons why it doesn’t matter. Now he says Hormuz being closed is good for the US!
This is how he thinks about trade anyway. The US can lose, but if Europe and Asia lose more then it’s a win!

Art Deco originated in France, but if you've ever traveled the US and seen how we implemented it on our architecture, you'd understand my meaning.
It defined our recovery from hardship and is part of the national soul.

For our 250th, if we're building something, I'd want it to look much more American.
I want industry, invention, the Apollo program, symbols of the Plains and West, Liberty, Gold Rush, etc.
