This is a good indication Trump is going to surrender on Hormuz.
He keeps thinking up reasons why it doesn’t matter. Now he says Hormuz being closed is good for the US!
This is how he thinks about trade anyway. The US can lose, but if Europe and Asia lose more then it’s a win!

Art Deco originated in France, but if you've ever traveled the US and seen how we implemented it on our architecture, you'd understand my meaning.

Pretty crazy to see the entire Democratic Party immediately kick Eric Swalwell to the curb over allegations that he has denied, and no proof being presented yet.

I just find it so telling that as soon as a democrat has sexual assault allegations against them, democrats rush to speak out against them. When it’s a republican, they seem to rally around them.

Iran reports that it is unable to find mines it laid in the Strait of Hormuz. Maybe that's true. But this is also convenient for Iran. This keeps the main ship lane in international waters effectively closed, but ships can still pass safely if they go closer to Iran, through Iranian territorial waters between Larak and Hormuz islands -- reinforcing Iran's control of ships passing through the Strait. What happened to Sam Altman and his family is really awful.
It is hard to reconcile his call to “de-escalate the rhetoric and tactics” with his implication that a piece of critical journalism (Ronan Farrow and Andrew Marantz’s New Yorker article, presumably) was responsible for this.
