I love marking my ballot at home then mailing it or swinging by a ballot box. Thank you Washington State & King County elections for making it so easy to vote! My deep thanks to U.S. citizens who will be standing in lines because they have no other choice – I've done that too!

A great paper to start with is journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/1…, which uses statistical physics to describe the shape of your ponytail, though not the length at which each strand will break. This paper won @goldlabUC an Ig Nobel prize. Maybe one of these prizes is in your future too!
