@MarcusHouse So much confidence has been eroded from nasa due to programs like sls. It's not really the fault of the working men and women, but the politicians that perpetuate useless, expensive programs to boost their own political career.

Goodness me, I hope this is not what reality becomes. NASA's budget had already been continuously trimmed. Dropping 50% more, that will be devastating.

Next week will be HUGE for Moon exploration. Starting Feb 26, an unprecedented three lunar landers will be en route to land on the Moon. Read about all three of the exciting missions: @fireflyspace’s Blue Ghost is expected to touch down on March 2 which includes payloads like landing plume investigation. @Int_Machines’s Nova-C scheduled to launch tomorrow and land on March 6, is headed for the Lunar South Pole to investigate the amount of water ice on the Moon with NASA’s PRIME-1 drill & mass spectrometer. Also onboard is the Micro Nova hopper. A propulsive drone that will hop around the lunar surface, including permanently shadowed regions, to expand the exploration footprint to up to 25 km. Also hitching a ride, @LunarOutpostInc’s tiny MAPP rover will collect regolith samples and NASA’s Lunar Trailblazer orbiter to detect and map water on the Moon. @ispace_inc’s Hakuto-R lander, already en route to the Moon, is expected to land in April will deploy the small Tenacious rover to collect lunar regolith samples. Lunar exploration is on the rise as we prepare to send astronauts back to the Moon later this decade!

@TrevorMahlmann I think the issue is that civility has been shoved down people's throats in the name of social justice while some very nasty minded people exploited that civility to accomplish some very perverted schemes. Kindness is not required when confronting evil.

Personal insults, ad homenim attacks, and knocks on someone’s character are a dime a dozen these days. It costs nothing to be kind, even to someone you really disagree with. Why is it so much to ask—of prominent voices especially—to treat others with civility and respect?🤦‍♂️

That's a dual bell nozzle, right? That hole looks way too wide to be the throat, unless that's where the actual nozzle starts and the heatshield acts kinda like a nozzle extension.

Our #GhostRiders nailed our most challenging burn to date! The team completed a 4-minute Lunar Orbit Insertion with Blue Ghost's RCS thrusters and main engine to enter an elliptical orbit around the Moon. Over the next 16 days, we'll conduct additional maneuvers to circularize our orbit and get closer to the lunar surface! #BGM1
