It can motivate people to help others. No one is forcing anyone to do anything.

IDW is canon though.
Plus IDW released in the 2010s after Forces.
They arent "shoehorning" any of them. They arent even "OCs." They are actual official characters.
It feels annoying to just downplay these characters for no reason ngl.

IDW characters appear in CrossWorlds (canon!) and are voiced in the Casefiles. Let's be serious.

@adampixelrush I don't read IDW because I couldn't care less, but I doubt it's the same as canonizing Archie. IDW is already canon anyway.

Also last note, it's a really strange decision to canonise the comic with the most inconsistant characterisation in an attempt to make things more consistant. This is like if you tried to canonise Archie, it just doesn't work.

So I like Tangle and Whisper, at least when they were first introduced, but I'm really dreading them entering the game universe. IDW is a mess and I don't want it anywhere near the games. #SonicTheHedgehog #TangleAndWhisper

@PandoMigos Mario Movie was destined to have a simple plot because not a single mainline Mario game besides Odyssey, Sunshine and Galaxy is as storydriven as most Sonic games.
2nd one seems like it'll be more interesting though. And what do you know, they based it on Galaxy and Odyssey.
