Well, the contract's signed, so it's official:
Waymakers: An Anthology of Women's Writing about Walking will be out in 2023.
It's the first of its kind, features some truly amazing writing from the C18 to now, and will be published by the lovely @reaktionbooks Huzzah!!

I've won an award! (and not one of the awards I wrote) I'm the bravest walker in Hike Norfolk for my walking 100 miles in May. I'm dedicating this to @morgs4mountains for his encouragement (and threats!). How lovely :) I'm officially brave :)

Beyond proud that despite the pandemic leaving my industry in turmoil, catching Covid and having an unexpected baby, I’ve managed to (somehow) keep going and am now a finalist for the @travelmediawrds in the Best Broadcast and Sustainability Feature categories. Thanks so much 🙏

Just got back from some hillwalking to find the 150th Strider on my doormat. Thanks to Graham Smith (editor) for a great anniversary issue. The reprint of the very first Newsletter illustrates just how far the @ldwa1 has come 😍 Also available to read online.
