It would be like Russia attacking Ukraine, and Ukraine attacks Hungary in response. Then someone asks “did Ukraine bomb Hungary before Russia illegally attacked?”

Interesting to see the overlap between people who believe individual silent prayer near an abortion clinic is an act of deliberate intimidation, and people who believe mass ritual prayer taking over a public space is unworthy of comment.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

Why do you think it happens only in Western countries? Muslims don't pray openly on the street in Muslim countries; it's considered sacrilegious, like praying in a bathroom.

I’m not convinced Muslim prayer in Trafalgar Square is an act of dominance. Islam is hardly unique in considering itself the one true religion..
But the fact the PM thinks Nick Timothy should be sacked undermines the claim we are all free to criticise Islam despite the new anti-Muslim hostility definition.

In September 2017, NYC First Lady Rama Duwaji posted a photo to her Tumblr account of the Palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled.

Khaled, a longtime member of the PFLP, a U.S.-designated terrorist organization, participated in plane hijackings in 1969 and 1970. Between the two hijackings, she underwent several cosmetic surgery procedures to disguise her identity. In the 1970 hijacking, Khaled threatened to detonate a grenade unless the pilots let her into the cockpit. Today, she is revered by terrorists and their allies as the first woman to hijack a plane.
Duwaji was 20 years old at the time.

Imagine the Jews being persecuted throughout the entire Middle East and Europe so an idea was birthed to go to a centralized place in the pursuit of safety that had a religious and historical connection to Judaism. Then Jews legally buy 7% of the land from Arabs for decades who sell it to them at way over market prices, and then the Arabs decide to slaughter Jews in 1920, 1921, and 1929 so the Jews say maybe we should create self defense organizations so we don’t get slaughtered again despite most of us being pretty woke lefties that just want to farm and be safe, so much so that despite killing us and losing our trust, we still want to be good neighbors and split the land with you into two countries where one didn’t exist before.
Imagine the local Arabs saying no repeatedly after multiple offers were made for a state and launching a war to attack Jews and verbatim drive them into the sea, and then getting their asses kicked by a bunch of Auschwitz survivors.
Then they tried again twice, and lost both times. Then the Israelis offered them a state again, and they said no and launched suicide bombing campaigns while the Israelis kept building their country.
And now here we are - they keep trying to destroy, the Israelis keep trying to build, and the axis of resistance is in literal shambles and all of the top guys have fucked their people over for no other reason than militant religiously fueled radicalism. Palestinian leadership has consistently prioritized a struggle over a state and they’ve gotten it.
The Israelis will continue to build, and the funny thing is, they just want those around them to do the same. But you’re too ideologically captured to recognize that.

Parliament must stand against hate and division.
Unless Badenoch confronts the rot in her own party, anti-Muslim hate will spread, and British citizens will continue facing intimidation and abuse in the country they call home.
