Would Link in Soul Calibur even be possible today? Crossplay is a must for fighting games now. Would Nintendo even allow that? Or would Link just be unavailable in crossplay? SC7 will retell SCII, its basically a remake. So, there's a chance they'd try and get Link back. Especially if the Ocarina of Time remake rumors are true.

@angelc0ded I use Elemental hero/Masked hero and if they really ban Stratos again it will ruin my deck again, it was a pain figuring out how to work the deck when he got ban last time, and a even bigger pain when link monsters where intruduced so I had to make a deck working with them too.

A former Nintendo sales lead named Sean said that a Switch 2 hardware price increase is "inevitable" eventually. He explained that Nintendo is making digital games cheaper than physical ones to help soften the blow. Sean added that this change lets Nintendo "pass some savings back to you" on digital while keeping physical prices steady. He also advised people to buy the Switch 2 now before any price hike.

@House_of_Champs @artogirus It depends on the set. Rarity Collection V definitely needs them to be a guarantee because the set is mediocre and they felt the need to short print half the set. Unfortunately this makes the sealed product a hard sell when it's going for $130 on TCGPlayer.

Hot take apparently: Getting over frames in about every other Yu-Gi-Oh box is a solid ratio for a "hit", and the starlights being that hard for a chase is a good thing for Yu-Gi-Oh boxes. We are no stranger to getting screwed vs OCG product, but these rates arent bad at all

⚠️Rarity Collection V Short Prints⚠️ I want to preface that this is from not the largest sample size, but enough that I can say this with confidence. Using the lower rarities as the baseline, these cards appear at about half the rate of all others across all 3 low rarity prints. I do not have enough data to confidently say anything about the higher rarities. I can tell you averages though. Per box, you should be pulling: 4 Prismatic Collectors Rare 4 Prismatic Ultimate Rare 3 Platinum Secret Rare 3 Main set Starlight Rare 4 Variant Pool Starlight Rare 1 Ultra Overframe on average in every 3rd box 1 Starlight Overframe on average in every 20th box Things may change slightly as more info comes to light, but at least here we have a frame of reference going into this.

@nib95_ PlayStation counts 1st party, 3rd party and DLC to make up that number. Nintendo is mostly their games and the few games they have a partnership with. Last time I checked the Switch software sales were close to surpassing the PS4 software.

Nintendo fans need to understand data shows #PlayStation gamers are buying WAY more games than #Nintendo gamers, hence comparing sales of just exclusives differs. Full game sales: FY24/25 PS - 303m Nintendo - 155m Highest FY SW sales Nintendo had all Switch gen was 235m.

@sedablade @masakarijin Except the issue is SCVI probably didn't sell more than SCV. The 1.7m is up to March 31st, 2013. It very likely reached 2m once they started giving the game away for free through PSN. And what more do you want? They did everything except put the game on the Nintendo Switch.

@MMZZero @masakarijin SC6 could have sold more if the game had a budget or some marketing or Bamco telling people when the game was on sale instead of only doing so for Tekken 7, but those things are out of my control. It still sold more than SCV which is all I care about.

@sedablade @masakarijin The game sat at 1.5 million for 2 years, lol. Most of the sales came from the launch period and had a small COVID bump after the game went on sale for $5. Why do you think people keep telling SC fanboys that SCVI failed? It sold the same as SCV but at a much slower rate.
