@talk2anuradha This needs attention and a strong push back impacting the Tata brand as it could be a trial balloon.

@talk2anuradha We are trying to build a $30 Trillion tech-driven economy by 2047, and our top private companies are still asking for caste on job applications? You are manufacturing advanced electronics, not running a 19th-century census. Hire for merit.

Tata Group has voluntarily collected caste data and encouraged SC/ST hiring (without mandatory quotas or sacrificing merit) since at least 2007–2009 under their Affirmative Action Programme (TAAP). If people are concerned, the cleanest way is to select 'Prefer not to disclose'. The field is likely voluntary and for tracking representation, not for quotas (yet). Still worth asking if it's becoming more mandatory.

An example from the past illustrating how UGC rules, if implemented, can be weaponised to settle personal vendettas: Dr. Vaibhav Jain was a meritorious student at Indore Medical College in 2012. His MBBS classmate, Neha Verma, asked him to fill the medical entrance exam form again and sit behind her sister Pooja in the exam to tell her answers and help her pass. Vaibhav refused. Neha got angry and retaliated by creating a fake Facebook profile in his name and uploading obscene content, then implicated him under the SC/ST Act, alleging he used casteist slurs. Vaibhav spent 50 days in jail and even took his second-year exams in handcuffs. Despite completing MBBS, the case blocked his chances of a govt job. He fought a six-year legal battle before being acquitted. But imagine the trauma, embarrassment, struggle, and stigma he and his family endured for no fault of theirs. UGC rules add an internal, low-threshold complaint route where allegations can trigger immediate academic or administrative action without rigorous scrutiny. Along with the SC/ST Act, this can be used to escalate pressure and settle scores faster.

I am going to throw these out just for fun. If I am wrong please feel free to correct me The word Zarathustra is made of two words: Zara- and usthtra Zara is old and usthtra is camel. Zarathustra meant the owner of old camels signifying he was rich Sri Aurobindo said that its origin was Jarad+drishta or the old seer Remember, avestan is closely linked to Vedic. The roots of the Veda go deep @MakrandParanspe

Both videos are from Baba Baidyanath Dhaam, Deoghar. The first shows how common devotees are treated, and the second shows how VIPs are treated. This is same in most of the famous temples. This difference must end. You can’t expect unity and brotherhood in a religion if the rich and powerful receive pampered treatment at temples while ordinary devotees are treated like an inconvenience. I understand that the sheer number of devotees makes it difficult to give everyone ample time, but things can still be managed with dignity, through better crowd management, token or time-slot systems, clearly marked queues, and strict enforcement of the same rules for everyone. Whatever is decided for the common people, the same rules should apply to the rich and powerful as well.

Textile sludge isn’t just dirt—it’s a hazardous cocktail of heavy metals like Lead and Chromium. Globally, leading industries stop open dumping and instead Co-process this waste in cement kilns or fire it into bricks. This safely traps toxins and turns waste into a resource. @CPCB_OFFICIAL @RSPCB_official @DCDMBALOTRA @BhajanlalBjp @RajCMO
