I remember when we first discovered this data. It sounded too good to be true. We knew the percentage was high, but this is an unusually good statistic to celebrate. After tons of research over the last several months to verify the data, it’s something we simply need to thank God for. 87% of churches assessed by @Acts29 are still thriving after 10 years. Incredible.

It is a good thing to pray to the Lord that the board would be a reflection of the people it serves, but to take it into your own hands and be partial to a certain person over another person is sin.

@Steadfast_Women @tnbaptist Umm, yeah so I’m a white, male pastor who serves on that board. There are 150 people groups in TN & we need greater representation of ethnic TBC churches on our boards/comms. Shouldn’t ALL tribes, tongues, nations be able to participate in God’s work here?
